Abstract

【課題】　弾性変形部材の変形が電極により制限されることなく、しかも変形時に電極を形成するフィルムに皺やクラックが形成され難くした人工筋肉を用いたアクチュエータを提供する。 【解決手段】　可動電極３と弾性変形部材４との界面に摩擦抵抗を小さくして滑りを良くする表面処理を施すとともに、弾性変形部材４の一部に厚み寸法を部分的に薄くした応力制御部４ａ，４ａを形成する。前記表面処理により、弾性変形部材の変形が電極によって制限されることがなくなる。また変形時には弾性変形部材４が応力制御部４ａ，４ａの箇所から変形を開始するようになり、結果として可動電極３を形成するフィルム６に皺やクラックが形成され難くすることが可能となる。
