Abstract

【課題】 弾性変形部材の変形が電極により制限されることなく、しかも変形時に電極を形成するフィルムに皺やクラックが形成され難くした人工筋肉を用いたアクチュエータを提供する。 【解決手段】 可動電極3と弾性変形部材4との界面に摩擦抵抗を小さくして滑りを良くする表面処理を施すとともに、弾性変形部材4の一部に厚み寸法を部分的に薄くした応力制御部4a,4aを形成する。前記表面処理により、弾性変形部材の変形が電極によって制限されることがなくなる。また変形時には弾性変形部材4が応力制御部4a,4aの箇所から変形を開始するようになり、結果として可動電極3を形成するフィルム6に皺やクラックが形成され難くすることが可能となる。
