Abstract

A speaker comprises a housing, a diaphragm for separating the space of the housing into a first space and a second space, a magnetic circuit having a magnetic gap, a voice coil located in the magnetic gap and coupled with the diaphragm, a vibration load suppressor provided in the second space, and a ventilation passage for allowing communication between the second space and the outside of the housing. The vibration load suppressor suppresses the vibration load when the diaphragm vibrates. The ventilation passage has a first vent provided in the second space, and a second vent communicating with the outside of the housing. The vibration load suppressor is located between the second side of the diaphragm and the first vent of the ventilation passage. The housing is provided with a sound discharging port for allowing communication between the first space and the outside of the housing. This speaker has acoustic characteristics which are invariant even if the housing to be fixed is changed.
