Abstract

 接合材によって形成される接合材層によって一体的に接合された複数のハニカムセグメント間の接合材層の組織にばらつきが生じて強度特性が低下することを防止するハニカムセグメント接合体の製造方法を提供する。隔壁により仕切られ軸方向に貫通する複数のセルを有するハニカムセグメント10を接合材により複数互いの接合面で一体的に接合して乾燥した小ブロックを作製後、小ブロック13どうし、または、小ブロック13の外周面に一層のハニカムセグメント10を接合して一体化する。
