Abstract

An apparatus for preserving wine in a bottle for use in cellars, wine bars, etc., for serving wine by- the glass from a bottle, capable of forming a vacuum in a bottle (11) partially empty. The apparatus comprises a vacuum pump (1) connected to the bottle (11) by a coupling member (4). In detail, the duct (2) passes preliminarily through a solenoid valve (7) and a filter (3) capable of retaining alcool. The vacuum pump (1), the duct, the filter and the coupling member (4) are integrated in a carter (5). On the carter (5) a switch (8a, 8b) is mounted having two positions, which can be operated in a first and a second position. A warning light can be provided (14). The coupling member (4) is arranged at a protruding portion (21') of the carter (5). An independent claims is directed to a stopper.
