Abstract

Provided is a signal processing device which can prevent increase of the size of a device for performing a restoration process and uses a circuit processing method which can be realized. A processing unit (4) of a signal processing device (1) generates comparison data from arbitrary image data by using reduced original signal data obtained by reducing a capacity value of original signal data (step S203) and using the data on the change factor information. Difference data between the image data to be processed and comparison data is distributed to arbitrary image data by using the change factor information data so as to generate restored data. The restored data is issued instead of the arbitrary image data and the similar process is repeatedly executed (step S204). After this, the last reduced) restored data is subjected to an enlarging process (step S205) and by using the enlarged signal data, the aforementioned repletion process is executed (step S206). It should be noted that the process may be completed only by the first repetition process (step S204).
