Abstract

A system and a method for context data management, comprising one or more context sources (1, 2, 10, 11) for providing context data, at least one context sink (3, 13, 14) for receiving context data from said one or more context sources (1, 2, 10, 11) via a context session data channel, and at least one context management entity (6, 7, 8) for context session control, are characterized in that independent communication channels are provided for context session control and context session data.
