Abstract

The invention refers to an arrangement in an articulated support for notebook, which, in addition to allowing the regulation of the inclination of the device, also allows the folding of the support. The support is formed by three independent parts: one lower frame (1), which acts as a rear foot, and two independent lateral spindles (2). The foot frame (1) is formed by two straight, inclined and short branches (11), interlinked by one horizontal spindle (12). On the free tips of the branches (11) are fitted pointers (13) with orifices for sliding the lateral spindles (2). Each of the lateral spindles (2) is formed by a lower frontal 'U' curve (21) and one straight, inclined and long branch (22). For retention of the foot frame (1) the lateral spindles (2) have extreme pointers (23). Preferably, the curved section (21) of the lateral spindles (2) may be covered by a flexible tube (24). Even more preferably, the horizontal section (12) of the foot frame (1) may have two pieces of elastic material tube (14) to prevent the sliding of the support on the top.

Description

"ARRANGEMENT IN AN ARTICULATED AND FOLDABLE SUPPORT FOR NOTEBOOK"
This invention refers to a new arrangement introduced in an articulated support for notebook, which, in addition to allowing the regulation of the inclination of the device, also allows the folding of the support.
The patent document BR MU 8401021-5 describes an ergonomic support for notebook comprehending a plain plate folded on the rear tip, forming a vertical wall, which serves as a foot to define the inclination of the device. On the frontal tip, there is a superior brim for the retention of the notebook. Adhering feet are disposed on the plate to prevent the sliding of the support on the tabletop.
This support for notebook presents the following inconveniences: a) it has no means for adjusting the notebook inclination, according to each user's needs; b) it presents large dimensions, which makes it difficult for the user to store, distribute and transport it; c) due to the vertical wall, which acts as a foot, the piling of the support is made difficult; d) it demands a large volume of plate in its production.
Another articulated support is also known, produced with metallic spindles, which allow the adjustment of the inclination of the notebook. This support is formed by the assembly of two frames, being one primary frame for support of the notebook and one secondary frame, which acts as a rear foot. The primary frame is obtained by folding a built-in spindle, so as to define two lateral branches, straight and opposed, presenting in the frontal tips, ascending "U" curves, which are interlinked through a substantially horizontal section. The frame, which acts as a foot is formed by two straight, short and inclined branches, interlinked by a horizontal branch. The branches of the foot frame are orthogonal to the lateral branches of the primary frame. In the free tips of the foot branches, terminals with an orifice for sliding the lateral branches of the primary frame are fitted, performing the assembly of the frames. The regulation of the inclination of the support for notebook is obtained by sliding the opposed lateral branches of the primary frame on the pointers of the foot spindles.
Despite of allowing the regulation of the notebook inclination and of being produced from metallic spindles, dispensing the plate, this support still presents the following inconveniences: a) the primary frame presents large dimensions, due to the "U" curves in the frontal tips of the lateral branches, which makes it difficult to the user to store, distribute and transport it; b) it has no means for its folding, not being possible its reduction to a plain format and when piling the support; c) in order to facilitate transportation, allowing the reduction of its dimensions, up to the size of the primary frame, the disassembly of the foot frame is demanded, which requires effort and ability from the user.
Therefore, it is an object of this invention an innovative arrangement introduced in an articulated support for notebook, which effectively solves said limitations of the state of the technique. This is obtained through a support formed by three independent parts, being one lower frame, which acts as the rear foot, in which the independent lateral spindles are articulated. These lateral spindles are provided with a frontal tip with a "U" curve and a straight branch, which slides from the pointers of the foot frame independently. To minimize the impact of the notebook in the moment of its disposition, the lateral spindles may be covered by a flexible tube.
The articulated support of the invention results in the following functional improvements:
- lesser consumption of metallic spindles; - it allows the retreating of the lateral spindles through the turning of the pointers fitted on the tips of the foot frame, making the support plain and capable of being piled, reducing the dimensions and facilitating transportation;
- it dispenses disassembly of the support by the user when transporting it. The articulated support for notebook of the invention may be better comprehended through the following detailed description, which is performed based on the drawings attached, listed below: Figure 1 - perspective of the support assembled in use position; Figure 2 - exploded perspective of the support;
Figure 3 - perspective of the support folded with the lateral spindles retreated.
Figures 1 and 2 illustrate the support formed by three independent parts: one lower frame (1), which acts as rear foot, and two independent lateral spindles (2). The foot frame (1) is formed by two inclined and short straight branches (11), interlinked by a horizontal spindle (12). In the free tips of the branches (11) are fitted pointers (13) with orifices for sliding the lateral spindles (2).
Each of the lateral spindles (2) is formed by a frontal "U" curve (21), and one straight, inclined and long branch (22).
Figure 3 breaks down the support closed, consequence of a first movement of a 180° turn of the lateral spindles (2) projecting down the curve (21) and a second movement of a 90° turn of the pointers (13), assembled on the tips of the straight branches (11 ) of the foot frame (1 ).
