Abstract
Invention is focused on efficient, commercially viable, and eco-friendly management of energy in a conventional closed loop air conditioning system. This can be achieved by looping a container having transfer medium as water or refrigerant medium. Container is in series and / or parellel combination with the existing air conditioning system in an automobile or with a Room air conditioner. The purpose of this invnetion is for cooling drinking water, beverages, storing medicines and food stuff, in an automobile or room using the existing air conditioning system.
Claims
1. A cold storage system for liquids & consumables in automobiles, and other moving vehicles having conventional air conditioning and refrigeration system by using un-utilized potential energy of refrigerant, where by the said system comprising;
A). A container made with shell-In and shell-out construction pattern, having outer and inner body, the refrigerant passes through the cavity between the two shells, whereby cooling contents present In the inner container space;
B). Closed loop configuration of the air-conditioning circuits made in series and/or parallel and has the provision to attach the additional devices for controlling & performance improving? to achieve the temperature between -5° to 20° C in the inner container space
2. A cold storage system according to claim 1, wherein the closed loop configuration can be selected in parallel and or series depending on the requirement and capacity, to tap the un-utϊlized potential energy generated by the compressor at higher rpm.
3. A cold storage system according to claim 1, the container acts like as an energy converter from the cavity between the inner and outer shell walls into the inner container space.
4. A cold storage system according to claim 1, where in the inner container space can be filled with liquid medium in which the packed components or consumable are immersed for cold storage.
5. A cold storage system according to claim 2, wherein the energy conversion achieved with desired lower temperatures by having a liquid transfer medium preferably water in the inner container space, the said liquid transfer medium act as a energy transferring medium between the shell cavity and the cold storage components, the said liquid transfer medium can be used to circulate in the secondary cold store age devices attached.
6. A cold storage system according to claim 1, wherein the container has opening lid to cover the inner contain space, the inner container space holds liquid in the container or any other packed or unpacked consumables of the cold storage.
7. A cold storage system according to claim 3, wherein the lid has the provision attaching air circulating fan or any other device,
8. A cold storage system according to claim % wherein the additional devices used are but not limited to thermostat & solenoid, expansion valve & receiver.
9. A cold storage system according to claim 1, wherein the close loop configuration can be attached made depending on the desired temperature required.
10. A cold storage system according to claim 1, wherein the container shape and size and construction can be varied depending on the requirement.
11. A cold storage system according to claim 1, wherein the said container can also be used in non- air-conditioned vehicle by rebuilding the system with required components.
