Abstract

The invention relays to sports, in particular to coatings which are suitable for sports activities and games, in particular for skating, which make it possible to skate at positive and negative environmental temperatures and are used for sports areas devoid of refrigerating arrangements. The inventive coating comprises cast-in-place slabs, which are connected in the form of a block and are made of ultra-high molecular polyethylene, and a rigid base. Said cast-in-place slabs are made of polyethylene, the molecular mass of which ranges from 1.5 to 3.3.106, and are rigidly interconnected by means of the base and the block, wherein the coating is provided with at least one antifriction layer which is freely positioned between the base and the block and has a minimum friction factor with the material of the block slabs and is used for facilitate the block displacement during heat expansion and cold relaxation. The block is displaceable on a horizontal plane within a restricting it mounting frame, along the perimeter of which a heat-compensating springs are arranged in such a way that they return the block in the equilibrium position thereof. The invention improves the quality and extends the service life of the coating and eases the production, mounting and maintenance thereof.
