Definitions
- the present device relates to a footwear sole having an electric discharge effect, and more particularly, to an improved footwear having a piezoelectric ceramic built therein, which has a piezoelectric ceramic element (hereinafter, referred to as 'piezoelectric element') built within a sole of the footwear and storage batteries separately incorporated therein for charging and actuating the piezoelectric element by generating a discharge current when the piezoelectric element is stopped in its actuation to thereby emit far infrared rays or anion currents at any time when a wearer is walking and even when the wearer stops the walking, thereby greatly enhancing health of the wearer's foot.
- 'piezoelectric element' piezoelectric ceramic element
- a footwear sole having an electric discharge effect which incorporates a piezoelectric ceramic element (hereinafter, referred to as 'piezoelectric element') within a sole thereof and an storage battery separately incorporated therein in parallel in such a way as to be electrically connected with a power circuit of the piezoelectric element to thereby generate an electric discharge current onto the sole of the wearer's foot through an electric voltage actuation of the piezoelectric element by a DC voltage even while the wearer does not walk, thereby effectively enhancing health of the wearer's foot through the piezoelectric function.
- 'piezoelectric element' a piezoelectric ceramic element
- the present device provides a footwear sole having an electric discharge effect, which having a piezoelectric ceramic element built in a general footwear for generating piezoelectric current, the footwear sole comprising: the piezoelectric element embedded in the rear part of the sole; electric discharge cables drawn from the piezoelectric element toward the front part of the sole and embedded in the front part of the sole; battery receiving chambers mounted at both sides of the piezoelectric element; storage batteries accommodated in the battery receiving chambers and electrically connected to a power circuit of the piezoelectric element in parallel; and a plurality of ceramic permanent magnets embedded in the front part of the sole.

- FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a footwear according to the present device.
- FIG. 2 is an exploded perspective view of a sole according to a preferred embodiment of the present device.
- a footwear (S) according to the present device includes a sole 1 received therein, a piezoelectric device incorporated within the sole 1 and having a piezoelectric ceramic
- the piezoelectric device includes a piezoelectric ceramic element (hereinafter, referred to as a 'piezoelectric element') embedded in a portion of the rear part of the footwear, on which a load of a wearer's body is concentrated, and electric discharge cables 31 and 32 drawn from the front portion of the piezoelectric element toward the front part of the sole and embedded in the front part of the sole.
- a 'piezoelectric element' embedded in a portion of the rear part of the footwear, on which a load of a wearer's body is concentrated
- the footwear further includes: battery receiving chambers 2 formed at both sides of the piezoelectric element 3; storage batteries 4 oppositely located in the battery receiving chambers 2, the storage batteries 4 being electrically connected to the piezoelectric element 3 in a parallel circuit connection; and the actuating switch 5 electrically connected to a power circuit of the storage batteries 4, the actuating switch 5 being mounted on the upper of the footwear in such a way as to be exposed to the outside as shown in FIG. 1.
- a plurality of ceramic permanent magnets 7 are embedded in the front part of the upper face of the sole.
- the sole 1 having the piezoelectric device is mounted inside the general footwear (S), and then, an insole 6 is covered on the sole 1.
- the present device which has the piezoelectric device incorporated within the sole
- the piezoelectric element 3 generates electric voltages by a transfer of electrons of polarization charges formed inside the piezoelectric element 3 when the load of the wearer's body is repeatedly transferred to the heel, and the generated electric voltage is evenly emitted to the front part of the sole 1 through the electric discharge cables 31 and 32.
- the footwear sole directly generates the piezoelectric effects by directly actuating the piezoelectric element 3 while the wearer is walking, but the piezoelectric functions are stopped when the wearer stops walking. Since the footwear sole according to the present device has a power supply circuit of the storage batteries 4 separately provided, in case where the wearer stops walking, for instance, sits on a chair to work, the power supply circuit of the storage batteries 4 is actuated when the wearer presses the actuating switch 5 mounted on the outer surface of the footwear.
- the footwear according to the present device can provide the same piezoelectric effects as the time when the wearer is walking so as to enhance health of the wearer's foot at any time.
- the present device has a number of the ceramic permanent magnets 7 arranged on the front face of the sole 1 together with the piezoelectric device, a magnetic force and a far infrared effect of the ceramic permanent magnets 7 provides a by-effect to more activate metabolism of the sole of the foot by synergism with the piezoelectric current.
- the footwear sole according to the present device can smoothly generate the piezoelectric current not only when the wearer is walking but also when the wearer stops walking, for instance, sits on the chair.
