Abstract
A hollow light guide comprises a pipe and an outlet part that tapers outwardly from the end of the pipe to an outlet end. The light guide has a wall, the inner surface of which comprises a light reflecting material. The wall may consist of the assembly of at least two longitudinal sub-elements which display at least one isometrical symmetry between themselves. The hollow light guide may be integrated in an illumination device.
