Abstract

A child safety device for securely holding a small child. The child safety device includes a substantially hammock shaped child support member having opposite first and second ends and a longitudinal axis, the child support member including longitudinal edges; and longitudinal main cords disposed between the longitudinal edges and extending from the first end to the second end; a fastener including a first part attached proximate one of the longitudinal edges, and a second part attached proximate the other of the longitudinal edges; and two hand attachment devices attached to the respective main cords.
