Abstract

The invention is a mechanism that gathers statistical viewer data that is vital for film distributors, producers and statisticians at mass screening locations. The mechanism continuously monitors mass screening/performance venues through the use of at least one strategically positioned camera (1) that covers the whole theater. The visuals captured with the camera (1) in question from areas that have viewer potential in the theater are defined and evaluated computing facial shapes and approximate sizes and transmitted and characterized through at least one image processor and communication box (3) via the said camera (1).
