Definitions

  • the present invention concerns an amusement device in the form of a revolving ride, or merry-go-round.
  • EP 1034823 describes a single amusement device comprising a seat to accommodate a child, two bicycle pedals and means for measuring the pedalling speed and consequently operating, in on-off mode, a device for lifting the seat which is substantially identical to the lifting devices used for moving pallets and similar.
  • EP 1034823 only permits to vertically lift a single seat with a single child along a frame and to revolve the supporting platform of the same. Presumably for this reason, the use of device of EP 1034823 is restricted to children only, as can be read in the text and in claim 1.
