Abstract
An improved air conditioner (1) with dehumidifier comprises: a pair of refrigeration circuit, each said refrigeration circuit (5) consists of a compressor (2, 3), one compressor (3) is having a smaller capacity than the other compressor (2), an evaporator section (4, 5), said evaporator coil is divided into two parts in which one is carrying, the refrigerant from the first refrigerant circuit and the other from the second refrigerant circuit; a condenser (9) with fan (13) being connected to said evaporator section for providing dehumidif ication of air, said condenser is provided with a pipe (8) for drawing fresh air from condenser to evaporator coil for dehumidif ication; and an additional coil (6) is providing reheat to the dehumidified air, said coil is connected to the output of hot gas from the small compressor (3) thereby reheating the cold air by hot gas generated by compressor.
