Abstract

The present invention proposes an incandescent lamp comprising: a tube (1) comprising a filament (2), said filament (2) having at least one end with a coiled portion (3); a pinched portion (4) at one end of said tube (1), said pinched portion (4) comprising a metal foil (5) connected to the coiled portion (3); and a mandrel (6) inserted into the coiled portion (3), part of which mandrel (6) is positioned in the tube (1) and part of it in the pinched portion (4). Via the mandrel (6), the coiled portion (3) or the filament (2) can clearly be strengthened and the lamp can be made more reliable.
