Abstract

L'invention concerne une installation permettant le stockage et la lecture de données dans un support de stockage holographique comprenant une source lumineuse (12) pour émettre une lumière (14) présentant une longueur d'onde λ; un modulateur (16) pour moduler la lumière émise par la source lumineuse; des moyens de projection (18) pour former un faisceau signal (20) à partir de la lumière modulée et pour focaliser le faisceau signal sur le support de stockage holographique (26); et une source lumineuse pour émettre un faisceau de référence (22, 32) sur le support de stockage holographique, le faisceau de référence présentant une longueur d'onde λ. Par ailleirs, l'installation comprend un réseau (28) et une couche λ/4 (30) disposés de sorte que le faisceau de référence (22, 32) incident soit diffracté par le réseau, ce qui amène le faisceau diffracté (34) à retraverser la couche λ/4.
