Abstract

An audio video previewing disk case comprises an electronic unit to suit the disk case. The electronic circuit provides in particular with a screen for an audio video preview of the content of the disk in the case.

Description The Audio Video Previewing Disc Cover
The Audio Video Previewing Disc Cover is made up of two main parts, an electronic unit and a specially made to suit disc cover as shown in FIG. 1&2.
The electronic unit seen in FIG.2 consists of video and audio hardware/software which will be able to save and play a preview of a movie/s, game/s, and music video/s. The electronic unit also has a built in colour video screen, a built in speaker (audio), and built in control buttons: play/stop/skip/back as shown in FIG.l .
Please note that the electronic unit does not read information off the disc inside the A.V.P.Disc Cover, but rather a preview of the disc is pre-saved into the electronic unit itself either by the manufacturer or by stores using the downloading port (USB) provided at the back of the electronic unit as shown in FIG.2.
There is a battery/s in FIG.2 which will supply power to the electronic unit and a charger to recharge the battery/s when flat. The charger is a plug in & infrared type. For example, rental stores can have built in infrared chargers into the display shelves resulting in the battery/s being charged without any wires and/or the battery/s can be charged with a charging cable using the charging port provided at the bottom of the A.V.P.Disc Cover in FIG.2. Possibly even use disposable battery/s.
The Second part of the A.V.P.Disc Cover is the specially made to suite disc cover as shown in FIG.2. The disc cover has two functions. The first function is to house a DVD or a Game CD or a music CD. *.l The main aspect of the Audio Video Previewing Disc Cover I wish to patent is to advertise in colour video and audio a preview of a movie/s or a game/s or a music video/s and music introductions on the front or back or inside the A.V.P.Disc Cover itself. j2 The Audio Video Previewing Disc Cover features a small built in colour video screen, a built in speaker (audio), built in play/stop/skip/back buttons which are all located on the front or back or inside of a specially made to suit disc cover.
|3 The features of the Audio Video Previewing Disc Cover I wish to patent is the small colour video screen on a disc cover, the speaker on a disc cover, the play/stop/skip/back buttons on a disc cover and the specially made to suite disc cover itself.
|4 The Audio Video Previewing Disc Cover can be applied in retail stores as a great ~ selling tool by advertising previews of DVD's, game CD's, and music CD's. The
A.V.P.Disc Cover can also be applied in stores hiring out DVD's and game CD's. For example, if there is a DVD inside the A.V.P.Disc Cover, the A.V.P.Disc Cover will play a pre-loaded preview of the movie in video and audio on the colour screen/speaker by simply pressing the play button. The same principle will also be if there is a game CD inside the A.V.P.Disc Cover, only in this case the A.V.P.Disc Cover will play a preview of the game/s. If there is a music CD the A.V.P.Disc Cover, the A.V.P.Disc Cover will play a preview of the music video/s in colour video and audio and audio introductions in audio. The A.V.P.Disc Cover can be sold or hired out with the disc or it can be used as a show cover on the display shelves. The Audio Video Previewing Disc Cover is made to increase retail store sales and rental store purchases. ι5 The Audio Video Previewing Disc Cover deserves a patent because it is a new and exciting way of advertising a preview of the disc inside the disc cover on the disc cover itself. The A.V.P.Disc Cover follows the trends of our fast lifestyles.
