  • a further set of graduations (52) on the side (42) are calibrated to take into account the reduction of volume in the jug (1 ) with the partition (40) in use to allow a second liquid to be measured into the compartment formed by the outside surface of the partition and the remainder of the jug (1 ).

  • the container can be provided with more than two compartments. This may be particularly useful where it is desired to mix cocktails and the like which have three or more different components.

  • the partition (70) can be shaped to divide the container into more than two compartments.
  • the partition (70) has a T shape which enables three compartments to be formed, a large compartment (71) and two smaller compartments (72, 73).
  • a flexible skirt (75) extending about the edges of the partition (70) in contact with the container (1 ) provides a fluid impervious seal.
  • the container and compartment can have any suitable shape and can have graduations which permit measurement without a partition therein and any suitable material can be used in the construction thereof.

Abstract

A container (1 ) is provided which includes two compartments (22, 23) separated by a removable partition (15). Graduations (25, 26) are provided for each compartment (22, 23) to enable liquids to be separately measured and subsequently mixed.
