Abstract

Eine Vorrichtung zur Ortung einer Sicherungsvorrichtung für transportable Güter umfaßt ein Lesegerät zum Auslesen zumindest einer in einem nichtflüchtigen Speicherelement der Sicherungsvorrichtung gespeicherten Statusinformation, das mit einem Transponder der Sicherungsvorrichtung anhand eines Identifikators der Sicherungsvorrichtung koppelbar ist. Zusätzlich sind eine Positionserfassungseinheit zur satellitengestützten Positionsermittlung und eine Funk-Kommunikationseinheit zur Übermittlung der Statusinformation an eine übergeordnete Überwachungseinrichtung vorgesehen.
