Abstract

A method for supporting flow mobility in a network, wherein a user is operating a terminal and wherein the user is registered to the network under said terminal, wherein the identity of the user's terminal is combined with physical network devices thereby constituting a virtual terminal comprising one or more interfaces, is characterized in that an interface of the virtual terminal, upon attachment to the network via an Access Router (AR), is registered with a Mobility Anchor (MA) using a tuple of identifiers wherein an identifier (IF-ID) of said interface being associated to the identity of the user's terminal as virtual terminal identifier (VT-ID).
