Description
ADVERTISEMENT APPARATUS FOR VEHICLE
Technical Field The present invention relates to an advertisement apparatus for a vehicle, which is installed in a seat for the vehicle, in particular, a headrest and more particularly, to an advertisement apparatus for a vehicle in which a backlight unit is integrally applied to thereby enable contents that are printed on an advertisement film to be easily recognized at night and to thus remarkably enhance an advertising effect, the advertisement film can be easily replaced through opening and closing of a hinge door, a dark zone of the backlight unit is removed to thereby enable the contents that are printed on the advertisement film to be displayed with a uniform luminance, and the brightness of the backlight unit is adjusted according to the external circumstances to thereby protect passenger's eyesight.
Background Art In general, in the case of advertisement methods of using vehicles such as taxis, buses, trains, and airplanes, advertising boards on which prescribed advertisement contents are printed are put or attached on the inner or outer surfaces of the vehicles. Otherwise, the prescribed advertisement contents are painted or printed on the outside of the vehicles.
However, in the case of the conventional advertisement methods using vehicles as described above, a separate illumination unit has not been placed in the advertising board itself. Accordingly, the advertisement contents that are printed in the advertising boards can be hardly discriminated at night. Further, since illumination is very low even with lightings which are installed in the vehicles, the advertisement contents that are printed in the advertising boards cannot be nearly recognized at night. In particular, in the case of taxis, since lightings which are installed in the taxis are not nearly turned on, the advertisement contents that are printed in the advertising boards cannot be nearly recognized at night. As a result, although advertizement sponsors load advertizement in vehicles, passengers cannot nearly recognize advertisement contents. Thus, the advertising effect drops greatly.
In addition, as other advertisement methods that use vehicles, there are a video advertizement method is performed using a monitor for display, or a method of making prescribed advertisement contents move or flow according to a light emitting diode (LED) lighting sequence using an LED electric signboard.
However, in the case of the conventional advertisement methods that use the monitor for display or the LED electric signboard, there is a problem that it costs high to install the monitor for display or the LED electric signboard. Further, in the case of small vehicles such as taxis, electric power cannot be properly supplied.
Accordingly, it is not nearly possible to apply the monitor for display or the LED electric signboard in the small vehicles.
Disclosure of the Invention In order to solve the above problems, it is an object of the present invention to provide an advertisement apparatus for a vehicle in which a backlight unit is integrally applied to thereby enable contents that are printed on an advertisement film to be easily recognized at night and to thus remarkably enhance an advertising effect.
It is another object of the present invention to provide an advertisement apparatus for a vehicle in which an advertisement film, can be easily replaced through opening and closing of a hinge door. ■ It is still another object of the present invention to provide.;. an advertisement apparatus for a vehicle in which a dark zone of a backlight unit is removed to thereby enable the contents that are printed on an advertisement film to be displayed with a uniform luminance .
It is yet still another object of the present invention to provide an advertisement apparatus for a vehicle in which the brightness of a backlight unit is adjusted according to the external circumstances to thereby protect passenger's eyesight.
To accomplish the above object of the present invention, there is provided an advertizement apparatus for a vehicle, the advertizement apparatus comprising: a base unit that is installed

The backlight unit 30 is installed in the advertizement frame 21 of the advertisement unit 20. The backlight unit 30 provides illumination from the back surface of the advertisement film 23, to thereby make advertisement contents that are printed on the
advertisement film 23 easily identified even at night. The backlight unit 30 includes a light guide plate 31 which is installed in the advertizement frame 21, a light source 33 which is installed at the side surface of the light guide plate 31, and a reflective film 35 which is attached to the rear surface of the light guide plate 31.
The light guide plate 31 plays a role of providing light from the light source 33 all over the whole surface of the backlight unit 30. The light guide plate 31 is formed of a relatively thick transparent synthetic resin plate. A number of grooves into which the light source 33 is inserted and fixed are formed at the- side surface of the light guide plate 31, for example, by a laser etching method.
The light source 33 which is inserted into and fixed to the grooves formed at the side surface of the light guide plate 31, generates light. The light source 33 is preferably formed of a number of light emitting diodes (LEDs) which form a point light source. In this case, as is definitely illustrated in FIG. 3, it is preferable that the light source 33 is arranged at one side of the light guide plate 31, as well as the other side adjacent to the one side of the light guide plate 31. In other words, a dark zone which occurs between the LEDs forming the light source 33 is removed by the LEDs forming the light source 33 which is arranged at the other side of the light guide plate 31. Accordingly, light of a uniform luminance can be provided all over the whole surface of the
advertizement film 23.
The reflective film 35 which is installed at the close back of the light guide plate 31 plays a role of reflecting light which comes out to the back surface of the light guide plate 31 toward the light guide plate 31 again.
In addition, a scratch may be formed at the front surface of the light guide plate 31 or a diffusion film 37 may be attached on the front surface of the light guide plate 31, in order to spread and deliver light from the backlight unit 30 to the advertisement film 23. The diffusion film 37 plays a role of spreading and offering the light provided from the light guide plate 31 to the advertisement film 23.
An electric power connection wire 40 is connected to the backlight unit 30. The electric power connection wire 40 provides electric power necessary for light emission of the light source 33. An adapter is formed to be connected with an electric power source at one end of the electric power connection wire 40. The other end of the electric power connection wire 40 is connected to the backlight unit 30, while penetrating the vehicle seat 3 and the base unit 10. As being the cases, a connection unit including a socket and a plug (not shown) that connects the backlight unit 30 and the electric power connection wire 40 may be formed at the other end of the electric power connection wire 40.
In addition, it is preferable that the adapter 41 in the electric power connection wire 40 is integrally combined with an
illumination sensor 43 which measures illumination of the inside of the vehicle and a controller 45 which adjusts voltage which is applied to the backlight unit 30 according to a signal of the illumination sensor 43 to thereby adjust brightness of light to be provided by the backlight unit 30. In this case, as it gets darker and darker at night, in other words, as illumination detected by the illumination sensor 43 becomes lower and lower, brightness of light offered from the backlight unit 20 is also controlled lower, to accordingly further protect eyesight of a passenger who stares at the advertisement apparatus 1 for a vehicle according to the present invention.
As well, the adapter 41 of the electric power connectionwire 40 can be connected to a special power joint jack when the advertisement apparatus 1 for a vehicle according to the present invention is installed in large-sized vehicles such as buses, trains, and airplanes, but the adapter 41 of the electric power connection wire 40 is connected with a cigar jack for a vehicle in the case of small-sized vehicles such as taxis.
As described above, in the case of an advertisement apparatus for a vehicle according to the present invention, a backlight unit is integrally applied to thereby provide an effect of enabling contents that are printed on an advertisement film to be easily recognized at night and to thus remarkably enhancing an advertising effect . In addition, an advertisement film can be easily replaced
through opening and closing of a hinge door.
In addition, the light source is arranged at one side of the light guide plate, as well as the other side adjacent to the one side of the light guide plate. Accordingly, a dark zone of the backlight unit which occurs between the LEDs forming the light source which is installed only at one side of the light guide plate is removed by the LEDs forming the light source which is arranged at the other side of the light guide plate. As a result, light of a uniform luminance can be provided all over the whole surface of the advertizement film.
Also, the brightness of a backlight unit is adjusted according to the external circumstances to thereby protect passenger's eyesight.
As described above, the present invention has been described with respect to particularly preferred embodiment. However, the present invention is not limited to the above embodiment, and it is possible for one who has an ordinary skill in the art to make various modifications and variations, without departing off the spirit of the present invention. Thus, the protective scope of the present invention is not defined within the detailed description thereof but is defined by the claims to be described later and the technical spirit of the present invention.
Industrial Applicability As described above, the present invention provides an
advertizement apparatus for a vehicle in which a backlight unit is integrally applied to thereby enable contents that are printed on an advertisement film to be easily recognized at night and to thus remarkably enhance an advertising effect, the advertisement film can be easily replaced through opening and closing of a hinge door, a dark zone of the backlight unit is removed to thereby enable the contents that are printed on the advertisement film to be displayed with a uniform luminance, and the brightness of the backlight unit is adjusted according to the external circumstances to thereby protect passenger's eyesight.
