Description

Description
A SPACER HAVING AN ANCHOR BOLT MOUNTING
PORTION THEREON
Technical Field
[1] The present invention relates to a spacer having an anchor bolt mounting portion thereon, and more particularly, to a spacer having a maximally ideal structure, in which an anchor bolt mounting portion is provided in the spacer itself and the structure of the spacer is very simple, whereby there is no need of a work for drilling an anchor bolt mounting hole after curing a concrete building to reduce costs and processes due to the simple structure together with reinforced strength of the building.
[2]
Background Art
[3] In order to construct a concrete building, there are required the steps of making a mold for each part such as ceiling, floor or the like, forming a building framework by tying up a plurality of steel reinforcements in the mold, filling the mold with fluidal co ncrete containing moisture, and curing the concrete to be completely set.
[4] A spacer, which is a subject of the present invention, is a member for supporting a steel reinforcement designated by reference numeral "20" in FIG. 6 that is a longitudinal sectional view illustrating a construction state using the spacers, where a plurality of the members for supporting a steel reinforcement are inserted in a concrete 40 at regular intervals to keep an interval between a mold bottom plate 30 and a steel reinforcement S.
[5] Meanwhile, after the curing step, the mold is dismantled and then various finishing materials are attached to the ceiling and the floor to completely construct one building.
[6] A method of attaching ceiling finishing materials will be described in more detail.
The method includes the steps of drilling a plurality of holes in rows in a concrete surface exposed by removing the mold bottom plate while looking up to the ceiling surface of a building, mounting upper ends of respective anchor bolts into the holes, making a separate frame having an M-bar or the like at a lower end of each anchor bolt, and attaching a plurality of finishing materials to the frames using bolts or screws.
[7] However, the work for drilling anchor bolt mounting holes requires significant time and efforts since the work is performed under inferior circumstance in a new building, particularly, while looking up to the high ceiling.
[8] Due to the inferior working condition, it is substantially very difficult to arrange the plurality of anchor bolt mounting holes in regular rows.
[9] Thus, it is apparent that the work for assembling frames for attaching the finishing material to the lower ends of anchor bolts fastened into to the plurality of holes arranged even in irregular rows. [10] As mentioned above, the work for drilling anchor bolt mounting holes does not ensure satisfactory work quality in spite of the large number of processes, so that there are urgent demands for its improvements. [11] An improved spacer 10 having a structure as shown in FIG. 7 has been developed to satisfy the demands. [12] Specifically, the spacer 10 is configured to have an anchor bolt mounting portion provided in the spacer itself, which is inserted between the mold bottom plate and the steel reinforcement as mentioned above, and includes an upper support 11 for holding the steel reinforcement S as its upper member and a lower support 12 coupled with the upper support 11 and having a nut N provided in its lower end. [13] In addition, a spring 13 is provided in a hollow region of the spacer 10, thereby covering irregular intervals, i.e., a range of errors, between the mold bottom plate and the steel reinforcement S throughout the entire building ceiling. [14] Such a conventional improved spacer has an advantage in that it does not need a work for drilling an anchor bolt mounting hole. However, the spacer disadvan- tageously requires separately manufacturing components thereof and a variety of processes for assembling them. [15] In addition, concrete is less used by the volume of spacers is not used, so that the strength of a building is decreased as much, which remains as a problem not yet solved. [16]
Disclosure of Invention
Technical Problem [17] The present invention is conceived to solve the aforementioned problems in the prior art. An object of the present invention is to provide a spacer having an anchor bolt mounting portion provided in the spacer itself to thereby obtain a very simple structure and providing cost reduction and improved workability. [18] In addition, another object of the present invention is to provide a spacer, which minimizes a space occupied by the spacer, i.e., a space not to be filled with concrete, thereby increasing the strength of a building. [19]
Technical Solution [20] The object of the present invention can be achieved by arranging an elastic support portion in a steel reinforcement gripping portion for gripping a steel reinforcement and a mounting portion including an anchor bolt mounting screw. Advantageous Effects
[21] That is, in the spacer of the present invention, the elastic support portion covers irregular intervals between a mold bottom plate and a steel reinforcement throughout the entire building ceiling, so that a spring used in a conventional spacer cannot be used. As a result, the present invention can provide simplified structure and cost reduction.

Best Mode for Carrying Out the Invention
[37] Hereinafter, spacers of embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
[38] Referring to FIG. 1 that is a front view of a spacer according to a first embodiment of the present invention, a spacer 10 includes a mounting portion 20-a formed in the shape of a cylinder to define a spacer base portion, an elastic support portion 20-b formed of elastic walls extending from an upper end of the mounting portion 20-a, and a steel reinforcement gripping portion 20-c extending from an upper end of the elastic support portion 20-b.
[39] As shown in FIG. 2 that is a sectional view taken along line A-A of FIG. 1, the mounting portion 20-a is formed in the shape of a hollow cylinder with a closed upper end surface, and a thread portion N is formed therein as a part for mounting the upper end of an anchor bolt, i.e., as an anchor bolt mounting portion.
[40] In the spacer of this embodiment, the thread portion may be a nut N (see FIG. 2) inserted into an injection-molded synthetic resin, or a thread N' (see FIG. 3) formed on an inner wall of the mounting portion that is a pure hollow cylinder without any separate member such as a nut.
[41] In FIG. 3, which is a view corresponding to FIG. 2 showing a spacer according to a second embodiment of the present invention, a thread portion N' having a thread groove formed by cutting an inner wall of a mounting portion 2O'-a as a pure hollow cylinder made of aluminum (Al) is illustrated.
[42] As mentioned above, the spacer 20 of the present invention may be easily formed by tapping the thread portion after Al die-casting or by injection-molding synthetic resin with a nut inserted therein, but other methods may also be used.
[43] The thread portion N or N' may be not only a simple thread groove but also other mounting units with a special structure for reinforcing the mountability.
[44] Referring to FIG. 2 again, an outer side, i.e., an edge portion, of the upper end surface of the mounting portion 20-a protrudes laterally outward from an outer side of the cylindrical body therebelow, whereby a protrusion is formed. Thus, a dimension D2 of the outer side of the upper end surface is greater than a dimension D4 of the outer side of the cylindrical body.
[45] The protrusion is used for preventing the spacer 20 from escaping and falling due to an excessive external load against the building ceiling.
[46] In addition, a central portion of a lower end of the mounting portion 20-a is formed as an opening in communication with the thread portion N, and an outer side of the lower end is expanded to excess the dimension of the outer side of the aforementioned upper end surface.
[47] Thus, a sufficient contact area with the mold bottom surface is ensured, so that the spacer does not fall while constructing a mold or placing concrete.
[48] The elastic walls, which the elastic support portion 20-b is composed of, include two planar pillars with a rectangular cross section, which face each other.
[49] Here, the spacer 20 of this embodiment has the following important features. That is, a space between two pillars facing each other is filled with concrete, so that the strength of a building is greatly enhanced (as compared with the conventional structure of FIG. 7).
[50] Referring to FIG. 4 that is a longitudinal sectional view showing a compressed state of the spacer according to the first embodiment, in a case where an interval H between the mold bottom plate and the steel reinforcement S is narrow (for example, the mold bottom plate (made of wood or light metal) is convex upward due to repeated uses), a large load of the steel reinforcement is applied to the elastic support portion 20-b on the spacer at the corresponding point as compared with other points. The elastic walls (two walls in the figure) of the elastic support portion 20-b are bent and at the same time the steel reinforcement gripping portion 20-c is lowered, so that the problem of the irregularity of the intervals H can be solved naturally.
[51] The elastic walls of the elastic support portion 20-b are illustrated as two planar pillars with a rectangular cross section that face each other, but any other shape or material may also be used if it can be compressively deformed balancedly and smoothly according to the change of interval between the mold bottom plate and the steel reinforcement.
[52] In relation to the elastic support portion 20-b, the wall functioning as a spring member should have a proper thickness. That is, too great thickness cannot allow suitable compression or restoration, and too small thickness results in a weak elastic support portion to the extent that a steel reinforcement cannot be supported.
[53] As shown in FIG. 5 that is a plan view showing the spacer according to the first embodiment of the present invention, the steel reinforcement gripping portion 20-c is composed of two elastic walls with a rectangular cross section that face each other, and the steel reinforcement gripping portion preferably has an upper opening with a width smaller than a diameter of the steel reinforcement S.
[54] The steel reinforcement S (see FIG. 2) is placed in a space between the two elastic walls facing each other, and the upper opening thereof has a width smaller than the steel reinforcement. This is because the steel reinforcement gripping portion 20-c grips the steel reinforcement S and thus the spacer does not fall or escape while constructing a mold or placing concrete.
[55] A border between the elastic support portion 20-b and the steel reinforcement gripping portion 20-c has a quadrangular shape as viewed from above, but it may have another shape such as a circle.
[56] Meanwhile, FIG. 6, which has been explained as a longitudinal sectional view showing a construction state using the spacer according to the first embodiment of the present invention substantially shows that only the steel reinforcement gripping portion 20-c of the spacer 20 of FIG. 2 is rotated at an angle of 90
[57] This is to particularly show that a space between two pillars of the steel reinforcement support of the spacer of this embodiment is filled with concrete.
[58] The spacer having an anchor bolt mounting portion according to the embodiments of the present invention has been explained with reference to the accompanying drawings, but various changes and modifications may be made thereto without departing from the spirit of the present invention by those having ordinary skill in the art.
[59] For example, the mounting portion, the elastic support portion and the steel reinforcement gripping portion may be not formed as a single body, but formed into two or three parts and then assembled. That is, after the mounting portion is formed of metal and the elastic support portion and the steel reinforcement gripping portion are integrally formed of synthetic resin, they are assembled later. Alternatively, only the elastic support portion may be formed of metal thin plate to enhance elasticity.
[60] However, small design changes within the scope defined by the appended claims, including the aforementioned examples, should be interpreted to be included in the technical range of the present invention. Industrial Applicability
[61] As described above, according to a spacer having an anchor bolt receiving portion of the present invention, a part corresponding to a conventional anchor bolt mounting hole is provided in the spacer itself, and the spacer has a very simple structure, thereby ensuring cost reduction and improved workability.
[62] In addition, a space occupied by the spacer, i.e., a space not to be filled with concrete, is minimized, thereby remarkably increasing the strength of a building.
[63] Meanwhile, although it has been illustrated herein that the spacer is used for a work of attaching finishing materials, its industrial applicability would be very large, considering that it is always necessary to hang various equipments or attachments such as air-conditioning ducts and other special-purposed parts on the building ceiling.
