Abstract

An apparatus and a method associated thereto allowing to treat surgical instruments after their use in completely hygiene manner safer for the operator are described. The concerned apparatus and method may be applied to surgical instruments, in general, from those of a hospital operating room to dentistry instruments, and to any instrument which comes into contact with body fluids and consequently requires an appropriate sterilization treatment prior to new use. Furthermore, the concerned apparatus and method allow to treat said instruments in all the contemplated steps up to the heat-sealing of the packages which will contain them, which will then be introduced into autoclave where the sterilization of the instruments themselves will be performed.
