Abstract

La présente invention concerne un appareil et un procédé de diffusion de données en continu, ainsi qu'une combinaison d'un appareil (1) pour diffusion de données en continu et d'une pluralité de terminaux utilisateur. L'appareil est conçu pour recevoir une pluralité de demande de diffusion en continu depuis une pluralité de terminaux utilisateur (11a, 11b). L'appareil (1) est constitué d'un contrôleur (6) conçu pour recevoir depuis au moins une source de données (8) des données multimédia sous forme d'une pluralité de fichiers de charge payante (9a, 9b), d'une mémoire (7) conçue pour conserver les fichiers de charge payante (9a, 9b), et d'une unité de diffusion en continu (3) conçue pour diffuser en continu les fichiers de charge payante (9a, 9b) conformément aux demandes de diffusion en continu. Le contrôleur (6) est conçu pour un traitement préalable des fichiers de charge payante (9a, 9b) avant leur rangement en mémoire, ce qui donne lieu à la création de fichiers de commande. Enfin, l'unité de diffusion en continu (3) est conçue pour diffuser en continu les fichiers de charge payante (9a, 9b) au moyen des fichiers de commande.
