Abstract

A method and apparatus (1) for detecting leaks in a fluid carrier (2) is provided. A minimum flow rate of fluid in the carrier is determined in a period of time to indicate whether a leak is present. A display (3) may display an indication of the minimum flow rate in the period, which may be in the form of a highest value of time taken for a set volume of fluid to flow through the meter.
