Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé consistant à utiliser un réseau de téléphonie mobile pour organiser un concours via des dispositifs de communication portables. Dans un premier mode de réalisation, des informations sont rendues accessibles via un site Web, le courriel, des supports imprimés et/ou la télévision. Les participants s'inscrivent pour participer au concours. Puis, le serveur ou un autre système effectue, pour chaque participant, les étapes consistant à recevoir un message SMS (Service de Messages Courts) contenant une première requête de question; à transmettre une pluralité de messages SMS contenant chacun au moins une question au dispositif de communication portable du participant; à recevoir des réponses aux messages SMS transmis qui renferment des réponses du participant; à déterminer un score pour le participant tenant compte du nombre de réponses correctes reçues du participant; à déterminer un temps de réponse pour le participant. Le participant dont le score le plus élevé et le temps de réponse le plus court est identifié comme gagnant. Le serveur peut mémoriser une pluralité de questions et peut sélectionner de manière aléatoire un sous-ensemble de questions devant être transmis à chacun des participants.
