Abstract

The present invention relates to the use of polypeptide or peptide fragments of the SLC24A5 protein, as active agents intended to promote increased melanin synthesis in the melanocytes of the epidermis or of the hair bulb, alone or in combination with at least one other active agent, in a cosmetic composition or for the preparation of a pharmaceutical and/or dermatological composition. The invention also relates to any composition containing said active agents.
