Abstract
The invention relates to a dynamic stabilisation device (2) comprising a one-piece means (21) which forms the viscoelastic core of the device and is made from an elastomer material that is biocompatible with the human body, said one-piece means (21) taking the form of a helical coil (210). Said coil (210) includes two shock-absorbing pads (211 a and b) which are positioned symmetrically on either side and which extend into collar-protected rods, the ends of which are provided with limit stop elements. The two arms of the device (2) form an angle (β) with the neutral axis. The aforementioned shock-absorbing pads (211 a and b) limit large movements by absorbing strong or violent dynamic loads. The device can be adapted to any intervertebral length.
