MindWatch
Field of the Invention
The invention relates to psychological implements including behaviour recognition and modification tools, and In particular, to a MindWatch which provides a means for enabling a person to monitor and record their conscious awareness Into the tool to be displayed to the user for further analysis.
Whilst the Invention may be applied to any application where H is necessary to record a particular state, action and/or other pre-determlned information at particular intervals to be monitored and/or evaluated, for convenience sake it shall be described herein in terms of a MindWatch which Is designed to be used by a person to monitor and record their immediate consoious awareness.
Background to the Invention
Over the years there have been a number of diverse theories and treatments which have been developed to deal with various psychological symptoms and behavioural disorders, In addition, there have been a number of theories and tools which have been designed to enable a person to become aware of their own state of mind/being and assist the user in recognising this and altering their behaviour and/or state of mind to regain control of their life and/or become more successful in life.
Certain devices of the prior art have been developed to function aβ a reminder tool for a person with a visual or audio alarm which, when activated, prompts a user to either be reminded of a behaviour in which they shouldn't be engaged in and/or prompts a user to enter whether they are currently engaged in an unwanted activity. Other methods of the prior art involve a person being subjected to an audio and/or visual medium or face-to-face contact In order to cause the person to experience certain feelings in response to the medium and/or express their experiences/feelings in response to the medium and record these for self-observation.
The prior art however, fails to provide a tool that is also applicable to healthy and successful people for enabling a person to recognise and improve their life situation themselves by recording their conscious observations and assessing their status over a certain timeframe.
Accordingly, it is an object of the present invention to overcome or substantially ameliorate the disadvantages of the prior art by providing a MindWatch which provides a means for enabling a parson to recognise and improve their life situation by monitoring and recording their conscious awareness into the tool to be displayed to the user for further analysis. The MindWatch of the invention is basad upon the perception that happiness and consciousness in life lies within the control of the user thus, by maximising consciousness in particular areas of a person's life they can consequently enrich these areas.
It is a further object of the invention to be used as a tool which provides a user with a foundation from which they can learn new ways of thinking and/or new ways of utilising their consciousness.
