Abstract

This will enable a physically impaired patient, the elderly, children and users of a mattress and other, similar elements in general to meet their physiological needs (urination, defecation, vomiting, menstruation, bathing, toilette, or the like) on the same mattress or element in order, owing to an emergency or for various other reasons, to be able not to have to get out of bed totally and go to the bathroom, without the risk of bad odours since when the mechanism is closed it is totally hermetic and everything can take place in conditions of absolute hygiene since there is never any direct contact between the mechanism and any part of the body, since any fluid body waste or waste from other sources ejected into the mechanism will be received by a disposable bag placed between the mechanism and the other body, human or otherwise. It will always be possible for the bag to be disposed of and removed as desired so that its contents may be thrown away in another receptacle (toilet, refuse, etc.) either immediately or on another day. The system and its respective openings may be located either in the upper mid part or at any other point of a mattress, chair or element in which it is to be inserted, depending on the specific use and requirements of the user. The physical shape and the size of the upper lips of the system, made from latex or any other soft rubber, may have a variety of anatomical shapes and sizes depending on whether the device is designed for a male or a female or for a specific use.

PRACTICAL DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The MATCH AND FACILITATING ELEMENTS OF PHYSIOLOGICAL NEEDS: It is a mechanism belonging to the electronic and metalworking sector.

The description of the corresponding drawings and figures on pages 5, 6.7.

The MATCH AND FACILITATING ELEMENTS OF PHYSIOLOGICAL NEEDS: It is a system (mechanical, electrical, electronic or combined the above) incorporated into a mattress or other elements in order to be to sleep or rest either in the middle of the same or in the head (for vomit) whose specific purpose is to receive disposable body fluids from men or women.

THE MATTRESS AND FACILITATING ELEMENTS OF PHYSIOLOGICAL NEEDS. It can be applied inserted or fused not only to mattresses to sleep or rest but also in hospital stretchers, wheelchairs, static chairs, and chairs of passenger transport vehicles in general (land, air, river, etc.).

The mattresses and other related elements existing in the current market do not provide the facility to so many people who urgently need it because to date it is incredible that a patient, a sick person or a physically handicapped person among others is obliged to use the known and obsolete duck ( container to receive body fluids), with the enormous discomfort that the use of said device implies and in most cases requiring the intervention of another person to be able to use such an obsolete object (duck).

With the system, these and many other inconveniences such as having a toilet far away will be overcome and this design will be at the service not only of the disabled people but also of any totally healthy person. TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION

It is a device inserted in a conventional mattress for sleeping or resting or another element mentioned on page 1, consisting of one, two or more adjustable openings, depending on the user's need and whether it is a mattress for one or two people; said opening or openings will be or will be closed semi or open, handled independently and at the will of each user, said openings will be incorporated, adhered or fused to each mattress or element in order and will not feel like foreign objects since being made of latex ( or other soft rubber) will feel as an integral part of each mattress or end piece.

The operating system will be handled manually by means of a side knob, which when turning or moving from one side to another will expand a system of flexible steely rods, springs or others that will be communicated to the knob directly or through pinions, elastic bands , endless screws, electrical or electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic or other devices which will open the upper lips in latex or any type of soft rubber of the system, it can also be handled not through a knob but through swiches that activate coils, solenoids or other electrical or related powered by batteries or electrical connections of various voltages that will finally close or open the system

Optionally it can also be operated by remote control if desired, which will perform the same function (open - close) only now it will be done digitally and remotely.

The MATCH AND FACILITATING ELEMENTS OF PHYSIOLOGICAL NEEDS, will be seen as a mattress or element for conventional purpose (common and current) because the mechanism or mechanisms will be internally and will be or will be mechanically managed by a lateral external knob or electronically by means of a suiche or remote control.

Claims

REIVINDICATORY CHAPTER

1. CLAIM: With the mechanism, any physically ill elderly person, among others, will have the enormous facility of being able to throw their disposable body fluids or be bathed among others in the same mattress or resting element that they use at the time without having to displace any another place far from its resting element.

2. REIVINDICATION: the system will provide enormous cleanliness and hygiene to its users by providing them with the option and possibility of not having to reuse a duck, container or disposable diaper among others.
