Abstract

A digital image is presented on a screen by identifying a plurality of areas of interest in the digital image, determining a relative importance of each the identified areas of interests in the digital image, and dynamically presenting the identified areas of interest based on the determined relative importance. Identifying a plurality areas of interest includes subdividing the digital image into a plurality of subdivided portions, defining a first cut off value, defining a second cut off value, counting a number of bytes in each subdivided portion of the digital image, determining whether if the number bytes in each subdivided portion is below the first cut off value or above the second cut off value, and classifying each subdivided portion as an area of interest or as not an area of interest based on the determination whether the number of bytes in each subdivided portion is below the first cut off value or above the second cut off value.
