Abstract

An apparatus (10) for channeling the flow of body fluid from the body of a user into a container (12), the apparatus (10) including a generally frusta conical frame (14) defining an inlet (16) and an outlet (18); the frame (14) being shaped and dimensioned to allow for removable association of the container (12) with the apparatus (10), when in use; and wherein the container (12) is supported by the frame (14) when associated therewith. The invention also provides for a kit for collecting body fluid and a method of manufacturing the apparatus (10).
