Abstract

Les systèmes et les procédés d'un mode de réalisation comprennent un jeu d'algorithmes qui réduisent la taille du fichier différentiel en prétraitant un ensemble de régions d'images logicielles pour des dispositifs de calcul embarqués, dont un exemple est l'image du système de fichiers de mémoire à lecture seule (ROM) comprimé ou CRAMFS. Les algorithmes traitent un ensemble de types de régions de données créées par le compilateur. Les modes de réalisation fonctionnent du côté serveur et du côté client. Du côté serveur, le prétraitement génère directement des données indices de différences fonctionnelles compactes (CFD) à partir d'une paire d'images CRAMFS sans utiliser de fichiers de symboles ni de fichiers journaux générés par des utilitaires de compilation/édition de liens.
