Description

Description
ADHESIVE BRASSIERE
Technical Field
[1] This document relates to an adhesive brassiere and, more particularly, to an adhesive brassiere with a novel structure capable of enhancing wearing sensations by having smoothly attached adhesive pads, capable of reducing costs, and lengthening a life span by preventing an adhesive layer from being separated.
Background Art
[2] Women wear brassiere in order to correct a breat line.
[3] The brassieres comprise a brassiere comprising only brassiere cups that cover a user's breast without a back strap or a shoulder strap and are attached on the her breast.
[4] The strapless brassiere is formed such that an adhesive is coated on an inner surface of the cups to allow the cups to be attached on the user's breast, and in this case, in order to prevent the brassiere from being separated from the user's breast even when the user does hard exercise, the adhesive is coated on the entire inner surface of the cups.
Disclosure of Invention Technical Problem
[5] However, with respect to the brassiere with the adhesive coated on the entire inner surface of the brassiere cups, because the user's breast are entirely attached with the brassiere cups, some users feel uncomfortable when wearing the brassiere.
[6] In addition, the adhesive may cause a skin trouble, and when the user's breast is sweat, because the sweat cannot be discharged externally due to the adhesive, the brassiere may be separated from the user's breast due to the sweat.
[7] In an effort to solve the problem, a brassiere with brassiere cups in which the adhesive is coated only on portions thereof has been proposed. In this case, because the adhesive are applied only on the portions of the brassiere cups, the brassiere needs to have good adhesiveness in order to exert adhesiveness as strong as that in the case where the adhesive is coated on the entire surface of the brassiere cups.
[8] The adhesive is generally made by adding various additives to synthetic rubber such as silicon rubber and has a disadvantage that when temperature in coating the adhesive is dropped to slightly below a melting temperature, the adhesive is immediately hardened.
[9] Thus, in coating the adhesive on the inner concave three-dimensional curved surfaces of the brassiere cups, an operator should put the brassiere cups in a tank in which the adhesive is heated and melted one by one to allow the adhesive to be applied on the inner sufaces of the brassiere cups, and in this case, its automation is not easy.
[10] In addition, in case of coating the adhesive only on portions of the brassiere cups, the operator should manually apply the adhesive thereto one by one, and in particular, because the operator should apply the adhesive only on desired portions of the brassiere cups, he/she should partially apply a mask on other portions of the inner surface of the cups, coat the adhesive, and then remove the mask, resulting in that the operations are complicate and nonproductive.
[11] Meanwhile, when the adhesive is applied onto a flat fabric or sheet, the adhesive can be directly provided to the fabric or sheet from the tank in which the adhesive is heated and melted, and uniformly spread so as to be coated. So, coating the adhesive on the flat fabric or sheet is much easier compared with the case where the adhesive is coated on the brassiere cups with the curved surfaces.
[12] Thus, attaching an adhesive pad fabricated by coating the adhesive on the flat fabric or sheet to the brassiere cups incurs low costs compared with the case of coating the adhesive directly on the portions of the brassiere cups.
[13] However, because the adhesive pad is made from a flat fabric or sheet while the brassiere cups have the three-dimensional curved surfaces, when the adhesive pad is attached on the brassiere cups, it cannot be flatly attached on the inner surfaces of the brassiere cups but rimpled.
[14] The rimple deteriorates not only the wearing sensations but also the external appearance of the brassiere, so the product quality is severely degraded. Technical Solution
[15] An aspect of this document is to provide an economical adhesive brassiere with a novel structure capable of enhancing the wearing sensations by allowing an adhesive pad formed by coating an adhesive on a flat sheet and molding it to be smoothly attached on a brassiere cup without a rimple, reducing costs by employing the flat adhesive pad that can be easily fabricated, and lengthening a life span by preventing a loss of the adhesive coated on the adhesive pad over repeated washing.
[16]
Advantageous Effects
[17] Because the adhesive pad is smoothly attached on the brassiere cups without a rimple, the wearing sensations can be enhanced, because the flat adhesive pad that can be easily fabricated is used, the costs can be reduced, and because the adhesive coated on the adhesive pad does not dwindle away into nothing in spite of repeated washing, the life span of the brassier can be lengthened. [21]
Best Mode for Carrying Out the Invention
[22] The implementation of this document will be described in detail.
[23] FlGs. 1 and 2 are a perspective view and a sectional view of an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, and FlG. 3 is a perspective view showing an adhesive pad used in the exemplary embodiment. As shown, the brassiere according to the exemplary embodiment of the present invention comprises a pair of brassiere cups 10 and adhesive pads 20 and 22 provided on upper and lower end portions of inner surfaces of the brassiere cups 10 in order to allow the brassiere cups 10 to be attached onto a user's breast. The brassiere cups 10 are molded into a concave circular cup shape with their inner surfaces gradually protruded as it goes toward the center thereof by heating and pressing a cushion sheet formed by attaching the exterior coverings on both sides of a sponge by a press molding machine. The inner surfaces of the brassiere cups 10 are three-dimensional curved surfaces. The adhesive pads 20 and 22 are provided on the upper and lower end portions of the inner surfaces of the brassiere cups 10. The adhesive pads 20 and 22 are fabricated by coating an adhesive layer 26 on an upper surface of a flat sheet whose lower surface is coated with a waterproof resin layer 25. As the flat sheet, a cotton textile fabric or the like can be used.
[24] Meanwhile, protrusions 16 and 18 are formed on the portions of the brassiere cups 10 where the adhesive pads 20 and 22 are attached in order to support the adhesive pads 20. The protrusions 16 and 18 are relatively less pressed to be formed compared with other portions in molding the brassiere cups 10. The protrusions 26 serve to correct the three-dimensional curved surfaces of the brassiere cups 10 on which the adhesive pad 20 is to be attached to two-dimensional curved surfaces, to thus allow the flat adhesive pads 20 and 22 to be smoothly attached on the inner surfaces of the brassiere cups 10 without causing a rimple.
[25] Preferably, the adhesive pad 22 attached on the upper end portion of the inner surface of the brassiere cups 10 is smaller than the adhesive pad 20 attached on the lower end portion of the inner surface of the brassiere cups 10, and the protrusion 18 formed on the upper end portion of the inner surface of the brassiere cups 10 is also smaller than the protrusion 16 formed on the lower end portion of the inner surface of the brassiere cups 10.
[26] Accordingly, because the protrusions 16 and 18 are formed on the inner surfaces of the brassiere cups 10 and the flat adhesive pads 20 and 22 are attached on the protrusions 16 and 18, the adhesive pads 20 and 22 can be smoothly attached by being supported by the protrusions 16 and 18 without causing a rimple. Also, such a brassiere makes the user's breast look ample by virtue of the protrusions 16 and 18.
[27] Preferably, a non-coating portion 28, on which the adhesive layer 26 is not coated, is formed on edges of the adhesive pads 20 and 22, and a bias tape 29 is backstitched on the non-coating portion 25 so as to be finished or combined with the brassiere cups 10. An end portion of the bias tape 29 is positioned in an overlap manner on an upper surface of a circumferential portion of the adhesive layer 26 and then backstitched. By covering the circumferential portion of the adhesive layer 26 with the bias tape 29, a phenomenon that water infiltrates between the adhesive layer 26 and the adhesive pads 20 and 22 to separate the adhesive layer 26 can be prevented. In addition, if the adhesive layer 26 is coated on the circumferential portions of the adhesive pads 20 and 22, when the bias tape 29 is backstitched, the backstitching operation can be interfered by the adhesive layer 26 or the adhesive may be eternally discharged through the backstitches 27 to cause untidiness. But in the present invention, because the bias tape 29 is backstitched on the non-coating portion 28, such problem does not arise.
[28] As mentioned above, the portions of the adhesive pads 20 and 22 which are near the outer end portions of the brassiere cups 10 are covered by the bias tape 19 and backstitched on the brassiere cups 10, and the end portions of the adhesive pads 20 and 22 which are near the central portions of the brassiere cups 10 are also backstitched on the brassiere cups 10, or the adhesive is coated on the lower surfaces of the adhesive pads 20 and 22 and then the adhesive pads 20 and 22 are attached to the brassiere cups 10. Also, as mentioned above, the waterproof resin layer 25 is coated on the lower surfaces of the adhesive pads 20 and 22. Without the waterproof resin layer 25 in coating the adhesive layer 26, the adhesive would permeates to a lower side of the sheet that forms the adhesive pads 20 and 22, which interfers separating of the adhesive pads 20 and 22 from a worktable in fabricating the adhesive pads 20 and 22.
[29] Reference numeral 11 denotes a link formed at an end portion of an inner side of the brassiere caps 10, and 9 denotes a connection clip that connects the brassiere cups 10.
[30] In one aspect, the adhesive brassiere comprises the pair of brassiere cups 10 that cover the user's breast and the adhesive pads 20 and 22 made by coating the adhesive layer 26 on one surface of the flat sheet and provided on the upper and lower circumferential portions of the inner surfaces of the brassiere cups 10 so as to allow the adhesive layer 22 to contact with the user's skin, and the protrusions 16 and 18 are formed to be protruded from the portions of the inner surfaces where the adhesive pads 20 and 22 are attached to support the adhesive pads 20 and 22.
[31] Mode for the Invention
[32] In another aspect, the adhesive brassiere comprises the non-coating portion 28, on which the adhesive layer 26 is not coated, is formed on the circumferential portions of the inner surfaces of the adhesive pads 20 and 22, and the bias tape 29 is positioned to overlap with the circumferential portion of the adhesive layer 26 on the non-coating portion 28 and then backstitched.
[33] In still another aspect, the adhesive brassiere is formed such that the waterproof resin layer 25 is coated on the other surface facing the adhesive layer 26 of the adhesive pads 20 and 22. Industrial Applicability
[34] Because the adhesive pads 20 and 22 with the adhesive layer coated thereon are smoothly attached by being supported by the protrusions 16 and 18 formed on the brassiere cups 10 without a rimple, the wearing sensations can be improved, because the flat low-priced adhesive pads 20 and 22 which can be easily fabricated are used, the costs can be reduced, and in particular because the end portion of the adhesive layer 26 coated on the adhesive pads 20 and 22 is covered by the bias tape 29, infiltration of water between the adhesive pads 20 and 22 and the adhesive layer 26 can be prevented during washing, and thus, the separation and loss of the adhesive layer 26 even with repeated washing can be prevented.
[35] In case of using of the adhesive brassiere according to the present invention, because the brassiere cups 10 are partially attached on the user's breast, the user would not feel damp and the wearing sensations can be improved, and although the user's breast is sweat, the sweat can be discharged through the portions where the adhesive pads 20 and 22 are not attached. In addition, because the protrusions 16 and 18 make the user's breast look large, the brassiere can meet the user's psychological needs that they want their breast to look ample, and especially, it can provide a high level of satisfaction to those women who have small breast.
