Abstract

La présente invention concerne un localisateur uniforme de ressource (URL), ou une partie dudit URL, ou une adresse électronique, qui sont utilisés en tant qu'indice afin de composer le numéro pour un appel vocal à partir d'un téléphone cellulaire vers une partie associée à l'URL ou à l'adresse électronique spécifique. On effectue une traduction automatique de nom à partir d'un URL, ou d'une partie dudit URL, ou de l'adresse électronique, vers un numéro de téléphone de contact cible en réponse aux demandes lancées dans le système téléphonique par une partie appelante. Une partie étant présente sur Internet parvient à améliorer sa disponibilité pour le public via les appels téléphoniques vocaux car les noms d'URL et les adresses électroniques sont pratiques, familiers et significatifs pour les clients. Le système et le procédé reçoivent la demande lorsqu'un téléphone cellulaire lance la demande, et le système et le procédé consultent la base de données WHOIS, ou une base de données spécialement établie à cet effet, pour découvrir le numéro de téléphone de la partie appelée.
