Description

Description
JUMP SHOES
Technical Field
[1] The present invention relates to jump shoes and, more particularly, to jump shoes capable of jumping using resilient force of a coil spring by installing the coil spring between a middle layer and a bottom layer of a shoe sole, improving a cushioning force and a damping force of the coil spring, and enhancing a durability thereof.
[2]
Background Art
[3] Jump shoes has been invented to feel fun and thrill and to obtain an exercise effect of a lower part of the body by installing a coil spring for jumping at a lower portion of the shoes to enable a user to jump using a resilient force of the coil spring after wearing the shoes.
[4] That is, the conventional jump shoes has commonly employed the coil spring capable of enhancing the resilient force of the shoes. A resilient member, such as a urethane foam resin, a silicon resin, or the like, has been used only for a damping shoe absorbing a shock rather than the resilient force.
[5] However, since jump shoes comprised of merely a spring is such that the suppression and restoration of the spring are rapidly performed, even a usual walking is like a hopping, thereby making it unstable. And since such jump shoes is difficult to set the resilient force and thickness of spring steel wire of the coil spring depending on the wearer's weight, there is a problem that when the resilient force of the coil spring relative to the wearer's weight is weak, the resilient force decreases, and when the resilient force of the coil spring is strong, the compressive force decreases.
[6] In view of the foregoing, although the function of cushion due to the compression of the coil spring could be complemented by inserting a cushion member such as a urethane foam resin, etc. in an interior of the coil spring, upon restoration of the coil spring, an impact resilience thereof bouncing off quickly compared to the cushion member causes the jump shoe to be decreased in its stability, and the coil spring's exposure to the rain and the like results in gathering rust, etc., thereby degrading the durability as well.
[7]
Disclosure of Invention Technical Problem
[8] Therefore, the present invention, which overcomes the above problems, is directed to provide jump shoes, which is configured by installing the coil spring between a middle layer and a bottom layer with the insertion of the coil spring into the resilient member made of a urethane foam resin, etc., capable of preventing the coil spring from decreasing or restoring its compressive force quickly, while improving its cushioning force and damping force, and preventing gathering rust of the coil spring due to its exposure to the exterior, thereby enhancing its durability.
[9]
Technical Solution
[10] Accordingly, it is an object of this invention to provide jump shoes comprising at least two coil springs between a middle layer and a bottom layer of a shoe sole, of which the coil spring is unitarily formed into a resilient member to serve their resilience.
[H]
Advantageous Effects
[12] Jump shoes of this invention allows its jumping using the resilience of the coil spring by installing the coil spring between the middle layer and the bottom layer of the shoe sole, thereby allowing the coil spring to transfer its resilient force to the resilient member in order to enhance the cushioning force when compressed, while preventing decreasing its restoring force, preventing the collision of the spring steel wire from each other, and alleviating an impact resilience bouncing off quickly from restoring of the coil spring, thereby providing a damping function in restoring the coil spring with stable.
[13] In addition, since the coil spring is not exposed to exterior due to its resilient member, no concern about smearing of the rain, etc. does exist, thereby providing the durability that prevents the rust of the spring steel wire and maintains the resilient force for a long term.
[14]
Brief Description of the Drawings
[15] This invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings in which like numerals refer to like elements.
[16] FIG. 1 is an exemplary cross sectional front view of this invention.
[17] FIG. 2 is an exemplary cross sectional side view of this invention.
[18] FIG. 3 is an exemplary reverse trapezoidal type of coil spring of this invention.
[19] FIG. 4 is an exemplary general type of coil spring of this invention.
[20] FIG. 5 is an exemplary mid- fat pot type of coil spring of this invention.
[21] FIG. 6 is an exemplary cross sectional view of coil spring, in which concavo- concave portions are formed in the spring steel wire thereof. Best Mode for Carrying Out the Invention
[23] To fully understand many objects to be accomplished by various embodiments and operational advantages of this invention, preferred embodiments of this invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings.
[24] The present invention jump shoes comprises a middle layer 12 at a lower portion of the shoe 10, a bottom layer 14 spaced apart from and parallel to the middle layer 12 at a lower portion of the middle layer 12, and at least two coil springs 20 secured in between the middle layer 12 and the bottom layer 14 to serve a resilience, wherein the whole coil spring 20 is integrally inserted into a resilient member 30 such as a urethane foam resin, a silicon resin, etc.
[25] In addition, the coil spring 20 is not protruded to outside the resilient member 30, but inserted in spiral type, such that when the coil spring 20 is compressed and restored, the resilient force of the coil spring 20 is transferred to the resilient member 30.
[26] Further, the coil spring 20 may employ a spring steel wire 22 faced each other vertically, and preferred is a trapezoidal type (including an inverse trapezoidal type) 20a or a mid-fat pot type 20b in order not to interfere with each other in the step of vertical compression of the spring steel wire 22 in the compression of the coil spring 20.
[27] Further, a plurality of concavo-concave portions 24, the surface of which is rough, are formed on the surface of the spring steel wire 22 of the coil spring 20. Preferably, the coil spring 20 is intimately connected with the resilient member 30 to serve the resilient function as one body.
[28] The resilient force of the resilient member 30 is less than or equal to that of the coil spring 20, such that the resilient member 30 has the function of compensating the resilient force of the coil spring 20.
[29] In the above discussion, when the resilient member 30, into which the coil spring 20 is inserted, is installed in between the middle layer 12 and the bottom layer 14 of the shoe 10, various fixing means, e.g., fixing by attaching the upper and lower portion of the resilient member 30 with adhesives, etc., or by using separate attaching tools, etc. may be used, and, therefore, the fixing means of the resilient member 30 in this invention is not limited thereto.
[30] The function of this invention will now be described hereinbelow.
[31] Jump shoe makes a resilient function by the coil spring 20 installed in between the middle layer 12 and the bottom layer 14 of the shoe 10, wherein the coil spring 20 is integrally and spirally inserted into the resilient member 30 as one body, thereby compensating the resilient function of the coil spring by transferring the resilient force thereof to the resilient member 30.
[32] That is, when the coil spring 20 is compressed, the resilient member 30 is also compressed. This not only increases the cushioning force with the prevention of decreasing the restoring force of the coil spring 20, but also prevents noises made from the collision amongst the spring steel wire 22 of the coil spring 20, and damages of the surface of the spring steel wire 22.
[33] Furthermore, when the coil spring 20 is restored, the restoring force of the compressed coil spring 20 is transferred to the resilient member 30, thereby alleviating the impact resilience such as bouncing off quickly, such that stable jumping can be carried out.
[34] Such resilient member 30, in which the coil spring 20 is inserted, increases the cushioning force and the damping force of the coil spring 20. This allows the resilient member 30 to maintain the resilient force suitable even for the users having different weights, and maintain the resilient force for a long-term use.
[35] Since the coil spring 20 is not exposed to exterior by the resilient member 30, there is no concern about getting rain on the spring steel wire 22, which prevents gathering rust therein, thereby significantly prolonging the durability of the coil spring 20.
[36] On the other hand, this invention employs a plurality of concavo-concave portions
24 formed on the surface of the spring steel wire 22 of the coil spring 20, which increases the unitary sense of between the resilient member 30 and the concavo- concave portions 24.
[37] Although the present invention is described hereinabove with reference to the preferred embodiments, many applications and modifications may be made by those skilled in the art within the scope of basic technical spirit of the present invention.
