Description

Description
ROLLING DOWN CELEBRATION MESSAGE SCREEN
Technical Field
[1] The present invention relates to a birthday candle decorated on an upper side of a birthday cake, which is basically invented to make a birthday fun by providing a common candle or a melody candle with various functions.
[2]
Background Art
[3] A cake, which is used for a birthday or a wedding anniversary party, is made for an event of a party rather than eating the same. So as to promote an atmosphere of party or make the event more fun, various decorations are placed on the top of a cake or a congratulation message is decorated on an upper surface of the cake. In recent years, when a candle is lighted, a certain melody is outputted. In another method, sparks are outputted in splendid shapes. So as to congratulate ones birthday, the candles shaped in the numerals of age are decorated or the candles corresponding to the number of age are decorated. Multiple candles are used for matching the age. In the present invention, there is provided a cake decoration item which has various functions and makes events more fun.
[4]
Disclosure of Invention Technical Problem
[5] Accordingly, it is an object of the present invention to provide a cake decoration item which allows the user to have much fun with combined functions.
[6] It is another object of the present invention to provide a cake decoration item which has various fun functions in which many congratulation functions are automatically performed upon lighting a candle as compared to a conventional art in which a certain congratulation message is decorated on an upper surface of a cake, and the candles are provided based on the number of ages, and certain numeral candles are provided.
[7] It is further another object of the present invention to provide a cake decoration item in which at usual time, a congratulation message is hidden, and the hidden congratulation message appears suddenly upon lighting a candle for thereby promoting an atmosphere of a birthday party as compared to a conventional art in which a character for congratulating a birthday is decorated on a cake with the help of a function the item starts operating upon lighting a candle. It is preferred that the item starts operating after a certain time delay. Here, a time delay function can be implemented at a lower price.
[8] Technical Solution
[9] The above problems encountered in the conventional art can be overcome in such a manner that the item is compressed using a spring with a simple and lower cost so that it suddenly operates upon lighting a candle, and it is tied using a rope so that the compressed state is not released. When the rope is cut at a needed time, the compressed spring is released, an the item starts operating so that a hidden message is rolled down. As a method for implementing the item with a simple method and a lower cost so that it starts operating upon lighting a candle, a rope is tired at a side surface of the candle, and the rope is cut by heat of the candle. With a certain length of the candle, when the candle burns and is melted at a certain height, the flame of the candle burns the rope, and the rope is cut, so that a time delay timer function can be simply implemented.
[10]
Advantageous Effects
[11] The present invention provides a cake decoration item having various functions.
Various functions are automatically performed upon lighting a candle unless a birthday congratulation message is decorated on an upper surface a cake, and it is needed to decorate the candles corresponding to the number of wedding or anniversary, and the numeral candles are additionally provided. The item starts operating after a certain time delay upon lighting a candle, so that people may be surprised by a sudden start of the event.

Best Mode for Carrying Out the Invention
[35] In an inventive product in which a hidden congratulation message is outputted after a certain time delay upon lighting a candle, it is characterized in that a candle 1 and a candle holder 2 are engaged on an upper side of a rear cover 3, and a right cover 5 and a circular spring 9 and a left cover 6 are engaged with a rear cover shaft 3-1 integral with the rear cover 3 being used as a rotation axis, and a screen member 7-1 wound on a screen rod 7-2 is engaged at the circular spring 9, and when assembling, the circular spring 9 is folded downward at 90° and is inserted, and a right cover fixing pin 5-1 and a left cover fixing pin 6-1 are tied together using an engaging rope 4 so as to prevent the right and left covers 5 and 6 from being unfolded whereas the right and left covers 5 and 6 are forced to unfold by a recovering force of the circular spring 9 at usual time, and then a front cover 8 is covered for thereby finishing a product, and when using the product, a candle 1 is lighted, and the engaging rope 4 is burnt and cut after a certain time delay upon lighting the candle, and the right and left covers 5 and 6 tied by the engaging rope 4 rotate left and right at 90°, respectively, by a recovery force of the circular spring 9 and are unfolded horizontally, so that the screen member 7-1 engaged in the interior is exploded, whereby a congratulation message formed thereon is shown.
[36]
Mode for the Invention
[37] The present invention is basically designed so that a size is substantial so that it is placed on an upper side of a cake, and multiple functions are provided for promoting atmosphere.
[38] As shown in Figure 1, a user puts a product of the present invention on a cake and lights a candle 1 positioned on an upper side of the product of the present invention. In this case, it is preferred that an operation starts after a certain delay time upon lighting the candle 1 so that others can not know the event since there is not a special event effect when the user simply lights the candle 1 and the product of the present invention operates. The candle 1 used in the present invention is a thin candle 1 having a diameter of about 3mm which is available in the current market. An engaging rope 4 may be burnt and cut by the heat of the candle 1. Upon lighting the candle 1, wax is melted and flows down for a certain time period. As shown in Figure 2, as the wax reaches a lower side surface of the candle 1 and finally reaches the engaging rope 4, so that the flame burns the engaging rope 4 and cuts the same.
[39] In the present invention, the above certain time period means about 10-20 seconds so that upon lighting the candle 1, other persons sing a congratulation song, and the event of the present invention is automatically performed for thereby making the people to have fun.
[40] According to the experiment, in case of the thin candle having a diameter of about
3mm and used for a birthday event, the candle 1 melts about 5mm after about 10-20 seconds. So, in the present invention, the length of the candle 1 has about 5mm from the candle holder 2. The length of the candle 1 may change in accordance with the situation.
[41] The engaging rope 4 is made of a material which is not extendable, but it well burns by the heat of the candle flame (for example, fishing line).
[42] As shown in Figure 2, the engaging rope 4 is tied in a circular shape, and is connected along a side surface of the candle 1 positioned on the upper side of the rear cover 3. As shown in Figure 3, it is extended along the groove formed on the upper side of the rear cover 3 and passes through the center portion of the rear cover shaft 3-1 which is integral with the rear cover 3, and of which the center is cut away. The rope is extended downward and passes between the engaging rope guide walls 3-2 integrally formed with the rear cover 3. As shown in Figure 4, the rope concurrently binds the right cover fixing pin 5-1 integrated with the right cover 5 of the lower side of the right cover 5 and the left cover fixing pin 6- 1 integrated with the left cover 6 of the lower side of the left cover 6. Here, Figure 3 shows only the rear cover 3 and the engaging rope 4 for easily describing the connection position of the engaging rope 4. Figure 4 shows the combined construction of the related elements.
[43] As shown in Figures 4 and 10, the right cover 5 and the circular spring 9 and the left cover 6 are inserted into the rear cover shaft 3-1 with the rear cover shaft 3-1 being adapted as a rotation axis. The circular spring 9 is manufactured in an extended state in a 180° horizontal shape in a state that the spring elastic force is released in a common state for providing a rotational force so that the right cover 5 and the left cover 6 rotate upwards at 90°, and it is engaged with the rear cover shaft 3-1 being adapted as a rotation axis. As shown in Figure 6, a circular spring wing 9- 1 of both sides of the circular spring 9 is folded down at 90° by disposing the circular spring wing 9- 1 at the inner side of the right cover 5 and the left cover 6 as shown in Figure 10. So, the right and left covers 5 and 6 have elastic force, so that they are exploded horizontally in upward directions at 90°. At usual time, as shown in Figure 4, the engaging rope 4 holds the right and left covers 5 and 6 so that they are not unfolded.
[44] The assembling process is finished as the engaging rope 4 is tied so that the right cover 5 and the left cover 6 are assembled and not unfolded, as having the circular spring 9 and the screen 7 in the interior with the rear cover shaft 3-1 being disposed as a center axis, and then the candle 1 and the candle holder 2 are inserted at the center of the same.
[45] According to the finished product, as shown in Figure 2, the candle 1 is lighted, and wax starts melting, and the flame of the candle moves down. When it reaches the engaging rope 4, the engaging rope 4 is burnt by the flame of the candle 1 and is cut. As shown in Figure 8, the right cover 5 and the left cover 6 are loosened from the engaging rope 4, and the right and left covers 5 and 6 are unfolded upwards with the recovering force of the circular spring 9 in the horizontal shape, and the right cover 5 rotates at 90° in the counterclockwise direction with the rear cover shaft 3-1 operating as a rotation axis, and the left cover 6 rotates in the clockwise direction at 90° and stops upward moving in a posture that a person stands with both arms being extended horizontally. Figure 9 shows the operations of the right and left covers 5 and 6 from the fixed position where the engaging rope 4 is not cut to the state that they are unfolded in the horizontal state as the engaging rope 4 is cut. Figures 5a and 6a show the fixed state, and Figures 5b and 6b show the intermediate state of the movement, and Figures 5c and 6c show an operation that the 90° rotation is finished, and the right and left covers are unfolded in the horizontal shape. Figure 11 shows a state that the above operations are finished, and the right and left covers 5 and 6 are unfolded horizontally, and the screen member 7-1 engaged in the interior is exploded.
[46] As shown in Figure 10, two screens 7 are provided at the inner sides of the right cover 5 and the left cover 6, respectively, and the screen 7 comprises a screen member 7-1 and a screen rod 7-2. The upper side of the screen member 7-1 is attached to the circular spring wing 9-1 with an adhesive, and the lower side of the same is fixed at the screen rod 7-2 with an adhesive.
[47] As the engaging rope 4 is melted and cut, and the right and left covers 5 and 6 are rapidly unfolded horizontally with the recovering force of the circular spring 9, and the screen 7 rolled in the interior of the right and left covers 5 and 6 moves up along with the right and left covers 5 and 6, and then the screen member 7-1 rolled in the screen rod 7-2 is unrolled by the gravity of the screen rod 7-2.
[48] Here, the screen rod 7-2 is preferably made of a metallic wire having a certain weight so that the screen member 7-1 is unrolled down by means of the gravity.
[49] The screen member 7- 1 may be made of a cloth or paper or vinyl sheet, but may be preferably made of a certain material which is not well wrinkled when it is rolled and unrolled with a certain flexibility.
[50] Figure 11 shows an example that a certain text message such as "Happy birthday to you" is designed on the right and left screen members 7-1. Here, the ages may be provided.
[51] Since the flame of the candle does not move down at the candle holder 2 made of a metallic material after the engaging rope 4 is burnt and cut, the flame is extinguished at the upper side of the candle holder 2.
[52] According to the present invention, the right and left covers 5 and 6 are unfolded in both directions after the candle 1 is lighted, and the congratulation screen member 7-1 is unrolled down, and then the flame is extinguished. The above all procedures are performed automatically.
[53] When the present invention is used for a wedding anniversary day or X-mas event, it is possible to insert a certain congratulation message on the screen depending on the purpose of the event.
[54]
Industrial Applicability
[55] As described above, according to the automatic birthday congratulation message screen, a hidden message screen is surprisingly exploded, and a mysterious and fantastic event is performed for thereby promoting the event atmosphere, so that it is possible to maximize the event effect with a novel method. [56] According to the automatic birthday congratulation message screen, various text messages and images may be provided on the screen for thereby maximizing the effects of the event depending on the purpose of the same. Since it is possible to input a company name or trademark for advertisement except for the text message, the present invention can be well applied for an advertisement means of the product.
[57] As the present invention may be embodied in several forms without departing from the spirit or essential characteristics thereof, it should also be understood that the above-described examples are not limited by any of the details of the foregoing description, unless otherwise specified, but rather should be construed broadly within its spirit and scope as defined in the appended claims, and therefore all changes and modifications that fall within the meets and bounds of the claims, or equivalences of such meets and bounds are therefore intended to be embraced by the appended claims.
