Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zur computergestützten Analyse von Mammogrammen, die ein Mittel (11, 12, 13) zur Detektion einer Konturlinie (K, K1, K2, K3, K4), die einen durch ein Objekt definierten Objektbereich (20) eines Mammogramms (2a, 2b, 2c, 2d) einfasst, aufweist. Erfindungsgemäß ist hierbei vorgesehen, dass die Vorrichtung (1) zusätzlich ein Mittel zur Positionierung und Skalierung des Mammogramms (2, 2a, 2b, 2c, 2d) aufweist, wobei die Vorrichtung (1) ausgebildet und vorgesehen ist, die Konturlinie (K, K1, K2, K3, K4) des Objektbereichs (20) des Mammogramms (2, 2a, 2b, 2c, 2d) zu ermitteln und anhand der Konturlinie (K, K1, K2, K3, K4) das Mammogramm (2, 2a, 2b, 2c, 2d) automatisch zu positionieren und zu skalieren. Die Erfindung betrifft darüber hinaus ein Verfahren zur computergestützten Analyse von Mammogrammen. Es werden somit eine Vorrichtung und ein Verfahren zur Verfügung gestellt, mittels derer einem Arzt die vergleichende Befundung und Diagnose von Mammogrammen auf einfache Weise erleichtern.
