Description

Description
BINDING TOOL
Technical Field
[1] The present invention relates to a binding tool adapted to a binding object having a characteristic that it is advantageous for use to be separated in a coupling direction and bound in the direction opposite to the coupling direction, for example, adapted to clothes such as a brassiere, a bag, a belt, a curtain and the like. More particularly, the present invention relates to a binding device in which a coupling is easily and simply implemented and maintained securely by a female piece provided with a plurality of elastic coupling members and a male piece formed at both side surfaces with a plurality of engagement members which are inserted in the female piece and coupled to the elastic coupling members of the female piece. Background Art
[2] Generally, various types of binding tools used for coupling objects to be coupled to each other have been disclosed in consideration of usage and characteristic of the objects and user convenience.
[3] Such binding tool includes a hook type binding tool provided to a brassiere, a pressurizing or a concavo-convex coupling type binding tool provided to a headwear for a size adjustment, a conventional button provided to clothes, a general buckle provided to a belt, an one-touch buckle provided to a conventional sack, an elastic binding tool provided to a tie band, a magnetic binding tool provided in a handbag and the like.
[4] However, the binding tools have an inconvenience that since an coupling direction and a releasing direction are generally opposite to each other and an elastic release and separation should be performed in the state of holding both of an elastic piece provided to the one-touch buckle and a male piece for engaging the elastic piece to support it, both hands of user should be required when coupling and separating the binding tool.
[5] In an example of a brassiere in which the hook type binding tool is coupled, a male piece having a hook shape and a female piece formed with an eye shaped coupling partfor engaging with and supporting to the male piece are correspondingly provided to each end partof two string of the brassiere. In a coupling operation, the male piece is inserted into and supported by the coupling part formed at the female piecethereby completing the coupling and the male piece is separated from the coupling part of the female piece thereby completing the separation. Therefore, there has been an inconvenience in use since user should hold the male and female pieces by both hands in the coupling and separation of the male and female pieces. [6] In addition, to solve the above mentioned problem, there has been a binding tool proposed by the present inventors (International Application Number: PCT/ KR2005/001318), however it is difficult to mass produce a product having a compact size due to the complex structure and there has been an inconvenience that user should take particular care of using and maintaining it to keep up its durability, i.e. the binding function.
[7]
Disclosure of Invention Technical Problem
[8] It is an object of the present invention to provide a binding tool, in whicha plurality of engagement members are formed at both sidesurfaces of a male piece constructing the binding tool and a plurality of elastic coupling members are formed in an inside of a female piece, and thus a length adjustment and a separation can be implemented as the male piece advances continuously in the same direction as coupling direction there- bycapable of providing use convenience to user, manufacturing cost can be reduced and a high mass productivity can be accomplished by a simpler structure as it can be realized in a compact size and a binding tool which can be used for long period without special maintenance, in other words, which has a convenience in maintenanceand good durability can be provided to user. In addition, it is another object of the present invention to providea binding tool, which can be adaptedto a binding object having a characteristic that it is advantageous for use to be separated in a coupling direction and bound in the direction opposite to the coupling direction, for example, adapted to clothes such as a brassiere, a bag, a belt, a curtain and the like. Technical Solution
[9] Hereinafter, the present invention is described in detail.
[10] The binding tool according to the present invention includes a male piece having a flat body formed in a band shape and a plurality of engagement members protruded from both side surface of the body and inclined at a predetermined angle in one direction; and a female piece having a lead-in partfor leading in the front end side of the male piece and formed whth a engagement member receiving partin which the engagement member is inserted, both side plates extending to both upper side ends of the lead-in part and bent to an inside of the lead-in part and a plurality of elastic coupling members protruded from an inner surface of the lead-in partand inclined at a predetermined angle so as to correspond to the engagement member of the male piece.
[11] In addition, an opening may be formed at an upper part and/or a lower part of the engagement member receiving part. In this case, the opening is formed so as to expose the elastic coupling member and a height of the elastic coupling member is higher than a height of the engagement member receiving part in a case that the opening is formed. [12] In addition, a guide groove may be concaved at a bottom surface of the body of the male piece in a longitudinal direction and a guide protrusion in which the guide groove is inserted and guided is protruded at an inside surface of the female piece. [13] Further, a groove may be concaved in an upper surface of the body of the male piece to facilitate bending of the body. [14] Furthermore, an attachment of the binding tool may be accomplished various known manners, but a coupling hole may be formed at a side of the male piece of the female piece or a ring part may be formed at an end part of the male piece of the female piece. Mode for the Invention
[44] In the binding tool according to the present invention as described above, as an engagement member and an elastic coupling member, provided respectively to a male piece and a female piece which construct the binding tool, are inclined at a predetermined angle in a direction corresponding to each other, a coupling, a length adjustment and a releasing is implemented while advancingthe same direction thereby providing convenience to user and reduce in manufacturing cost can be induced by a relatively simple structure.
[45] Practical and presently preferred embodiments of the present invention are illustrative with reference to accompanying drawings.
[46] However, it will be appreciated that those skilled in the art, on consideration of this disclosure, may make modifications and improvements within the spirit and scope of the present invention.
[47] A binding tool according to the present invention includes a male piece 10 shown in
Fig. 1 and a female piece 20 shown in Fig. 2 which are formed so as to be in a pair. As shown, the male piece 10 is provided with a flat body 11 having a band shape and a plurality of engagement members 12 having a predetermined thickness, a predetermined size and a predetermined angle and protruded from both side surface of the body 11 to be inclined to one direction. The female piece 20 is provided with a lead-in part 21 formed with an engagement member receiving part 22for leading therein the engagement members 12 of the male piece 10 plates 23 extending to both upper ends of the lead-in part 21 and then bentto inside of the lead-in part 21, and being in contact with both sides of an upper end partof the male piece 10, which has a predetermined width and the predetermined thickness and where there is no engagement members 12, to guide the male piece 10 when bound to the male piece 10 and a plurality of elastic coupling members 24 protruded from an inner surface of the lead-in part 21 to be inclined at a predetermined angle so as to correspond to the engagement member 12 of the male piece 10. As shown, the lead-in part 21 of the female piece 20 is made in such a shape that its upper central part is open as the plates 23 formed at both sides are bent and the male piece 10 and the female piece 20 can be separated as the coupled male piece advances in a coupling direction.
[48] The male piece 10 may be formed, as shown in Fig. 3 and Fig. 4, with a guide groove 13 concaved at a bottom surface thereof in a longitudinal direction of the body 11.
[49] In addition, the female piece 20 may be further formed, as shown in Fig. 5 and Fig.
6, with opening 25 at an upper part and/or a lower part of the engagement member receiving part22. In the case that the opening 25 is further formed at the lower part of the engagement member receiving part 22 as shown in Fig. 5 or the openings 25 are further formed at both upper and lower parts of the engagement member receiving part22 as shown in Fig. 6, the elastic coupling members 24 formed at both inner surface of the lead-in part 21 of the female piece 20 have a height higher than that of the elastic coupling members 24 shown in Fig. 2.
[50] In other words, the elastic coupling members 24 shown in Fig. 2 is limited in its height by the lead-in part 21 and the plates 23 extending from both sides of the lead-in part 21, however in the elastic coupling members 24 shown in Fig. 5 and Fig. 6, the height of the elastic coupling member 24 is not limited to the height of the elastic coupling members 24 shown in Fig. 2 and is higher than the height of the engagement member receiving part because the opening 25 is further formed in the plate 23, the opening 25 is formed so that the elastic coupling member 24 is exposed and the elastic coupling member 24 is disposed in an inside of the opening 26.Of course, even in the case that the opening 20, which is perforated in an up and down direction, is formed only at the plates 23 which is formed at both sides of the upper end of the lead-in part 21 of the female piece 20, the height of the elastic coupling member 24 can be more higher and thus the more strength elastic coupling member 24 can be provided.
[51] Fig. 6 is a perspective view illustrating the female piece 20 corresponding to Fig. 3 and Fig. 4 and a guide protrusion 26 in which the guide groove 13 of the male piece 10 is inserted and guided may be protruded at the inner surface of the lead-in part of the female piece 20. The further forming of the guide groove 13 and the guide protrusion 26 makes a front end of the male piece 10 to be more easily led into a side of the lead- in part 21 and the guidance of the guide groove 13 of the male piece 10 by the guide protrusion 26 makes a stronger coupling of the engagement members 12 formed at both side surfaces of the male piece 10 to the elastic coupling members 24 formed at the female piece 20.
[52] Fig. 7 is a perspective view illustrating the binding tool of the present invention, which includes the male piece 10 shown in Fig. 3 and the female piece 20 shown in Fig. 6. As shown in Fig. 7, coupling holes 16 and 28 are respectively formed in the male piece 10 and the female piece 20 so that the male piece 10 and the female piece 20 can be connected to both side ends of the object by a connection member such as a thread, thereby capable of coupling the object.
[53] The front end of the male piece 10 is led in the female piece 20 and then the engagement member 12 of the male piece 10 and the elastic coupling member 24 formed at both inner surfaces of the lead-in part 21 of the female piece 20, which are inclined at a predetermined angle so as to correspond to each other, are coupled to each other, and thus the object is strongly coupled.
[54] In addition, release of the coupled object is implemented by advancing further the male piece 10 inserted in the lead-in part21 of the female piece 20 to the direction that themale piece 10 is inserted and thus separating the male piece 10 from the female piece 20. In other words, as the male piece 10 advances further to the insertion direction, the engagement members 12 formed at both side surfaces of the male piece 10 advances continuously to be separated from the elastic coupling member 24 of the female piece 20 and thus the male piece 10 is separated completely from the female piece 20, thereby releasing the coupling of the object. For this end, the male piece 10 and the female piece 20 are made of a flexible material having a predetermined strength.
[55] As such, in the binding tool according to the present invention, it is easy to couple the male piece 10 to the female piece 20 and the coupled male piece 10 and female piece 20 can be easily separated by continuous advancing of the male piece 10 to one direction and thus user can easily release the object.
[56] Furthermore, because a recess groove 14 for facilitating the bending of the body 11 is further concaved in a lateral direction on an upper end partof the body 11 of the male piece 10, the body 11 of the male piece 10 has flexibility by the recess groove 14 and thus the male piece 10 and the female piece 20 can be easily coupled to and separated from each other. Moreover, even in the case that it is difficult to couple and release the object as the object is hard, for example, in the case of a bag, it is easy to couple and release as the body 11 of the male piece 10 has flexibility by the recess groove 14.
[57] Fig. 8 shows that three guide grooves 13 are concaved at the bottom surface of the male piece 10 and three guide protrusions 26, in which the guide grooves 13 are inserted and guided, are formed, and as such number of the guide groove 13 concaved at the bottom surface of the male piece 10 and the guide protrusions 26 in which the guide groove 13 is inserted is not limited and a plurality of the guide grooves 13 and the guide protrusions 26 may be formed if necessary.
[58] Fig. 9 shows an embodiment in which a ring part 15 is formed at a rear end partof the body 11 of the male piece 10 and Fig. 10 shows another embodiment in which ring parts 15 and 27 are formed at a rear end partof the male piece 10 and a front end part of the female piece 20. The ring parts 15 and 27 are, like the coupling holes 16 and 28, for coupling the male piece 10 and the female piece 20 to an object.
[59] As shown, it is preferable that the ring part 27 formed in the female piece 20 has a stepped shape so as not to obstruct movement of the female piece 20.
[60] In the binding tool having structures shown in Fig 9 and Fig 10, the rear end part of the body 11 of the male piece 10 has a length L longer than a length L of the female piece 20 and a width narrower than the that of the lead-in part 21 of the female piece 20 and is not formed with the engagementmember 12 and thus the male piece can be easily separated from the female piece by advancing the male piece 10 and lifting the rear end partof the male piece 10 which is narrower than widths of the lead-in part 21 and the plates 23.
