Abstract

Der Beginn einer Apnoe kann zuverlässig erkannt werden, wenn eine Reihe von Samplewerten, die das Atemgeräusch eines Patienten beschreiben, blockweise verarbeitet werden und wenn für eine Anzahl von Samplewerten innerhalb eines Blocks ein Fingerabdruck mit vorbestimmter Anzahl von Fingerabdruck-Koeffizienten bestimmt wird, welcher einen Signalverlauf der Samplewerte innerhalb des Blocks beschreibt. Da die Anzahl von Fingerabdruck-Koeffizienten geringer ist als die Anzahl von Samplewerten innerhalb des Blocks, kann effizient und zuverlässig ein Vergleich der Fingerabdruck-Koeffizienten mit Referenz-Fingerabdruck-Koeffizienten, welche für den Signalverlauf am Beginn einer Apnoe charakteristisch sind, durchgeführt werden, um den Beginn der Apnoe nachzuweisen.
