Abstract

A device for compensating for the tilt of a sliding wing (2), applicable to a sliding wing (2) able to move relative to a frame (3) of an item of furniture (30) comprises means (5) for balancing at least one component of a moment of forces generated by the weight of elements (20) constrained at one end of the sliding wing (2), the balancing means (5) being applicable between the sliding wing (2) and the frame (3). An item of furniture (30), for example a wardrobe, an element of a piece of modular furniture and/or a wall unit, comprises a sliding wing (2), a frame (3) and such a device for compensating for the tilt of the sliding wing (2).
