Abstract

Disclosed therein is a combination structure of a coupling boss and a plate, which is improved in product quality and strength, which is easy to manufacture, which can combine the coupling boss and the plate with no damage of a plated layer, and which can be manufactured without replacement of the die and mould. In the combination structure of the coupling boss (1) and the plate (2), the coupling boss (1) includes a female screw hole (3) formed on the upper portion thereof, a flange (4) formed on the lower end thereof, and combining means such as a retaining jaw (6) and a retaining hole (7), a retaining groove (8) or a radially saw-toothed portion (9) formed on the lower portion of the coupling boss (1), whereby the plate (2) is firmly combined to the coupling boss (1) while the upper portion of the plate (2) is pressed to the combining means when the plate (2) is forcedly pressed to the coupling boss (1). So, the present invention can combine the coupling boss (1) and the plate (2) with strong combining force, provide easiness in manufacturing since the coupling boss (1) and the plate (2) are combined with each other without replacement of the die and mould, greatly improve coupling strength, improve product quality by combining the coupling boss and the plate with each other with no damage of the plated layer, be applied compatibly to any products which require strong combining force or which require weak combining force, and have other various effects.

Technical Field
[1] The present invention relates to a combination structure of a coupling boss and a plate, and more particularly, to a combination structure of a coupling boss and a plate, which is improved in product quality and strength, which is easy to manufacture, which can combine the coupling boss and the plate with no damage of a plated layer, and which can be manufactured without replacement of the die and mould. Background Art
[2] In general, to combine a coupling boss to a plate constituting a PDP main chassis, as disclosed in Korean Patent Application No. 10-2006-0002909 invented by the same inventor as the present invention, when the upper portion of the coupling boss is forcedly pressed, since a plated layer is also pressed, a come-off portion of the plated layer gets rusty, and so, the prior art cannot guarantee uniformity in product quality due to a deviation in product quality. [3] Accordingly, the present invention has been made to solve the above-mentioned problems occurring in the prior arts, and it is an object of the present invention to provide a new combination structure of a coupling boss and a plate.
[4] It is another object of the present invention is to provide a combination structure of a coupling boss and a plate, that the plate is forcedly pressed and firmly combined to combining means formed on the coupling boss, thereby improving product quality and combining force, providing easiness in manufacturing, combining the coupling boss and the plate with no damage of a plated layer, and being manufactured without replacement of the die and mould. Technical Solution
[5] To accomplish the above objects, according to the present invention, there is provided a combination structure of a coupling boss and a plate, wherein the coupling boss includes a female screw hole formed on the upper portion thereof, a flange formed on the lower end thereof, and at least one retaining jaw and retaining hole formed on the lower portion thereof by a punch, whereby the plate is firmly combined to the coupling boss while the upper portion of the plate is pressed through the retaining hole when the plate is forcedly pressed into the coupling boss. [6] According to the combination structure of the coupling boss and the plate of the present invention, the coupling boss and the plate can be firmly combined with each other with strong combining force, easiness is provided in manufacturing since the coupling boss and the plate are combined with each other without replacement of the die and mould. In addition, the present invention can greatly improve coupling strength, improve product quality by combining the coupling boss and the plate with each other with no damage of the plated layer, can be applied compatibly to any products which require strong combining force or which require weak combining force, and have other various effects.

When the plate 2 is forcedly pressed, the coupling boss 1 and the plate 2 are firmly combined with each other.

A combination structure of the coupling boss and the plate according to the fourth preferred embodiment is used for a product which has weak coupling force. The coupling boss 1 has four retaining grooves 8 punched at the lower end thereof, namely, at a portion where the lower end of the coupling boss 1 is in contact with the flange 4. When the plate 2 is forcedly pressed into the retaining grooves 8, the coupling boss 1 and the plate 2 are firmly combined with each other.

[34] As described above, the combination structure of the coupling boss and the plate according to the present invention may selectively adopt one of the various combining means, such as the retaining jaw 6 and retaining hole 7, the retaining grooves 8, the radially saw-toothed portion 9, formed on the coupling boss 1, so that the plate 2 is pressed to the combining means when the plate 2 is forcedly pressed, whereby the coupling boss 1 and the plate 2 can be easily combined with each other with strong combining force.
[35] Since the coupling boss 1 and the plate 2 can be firmly combined with each other without replacement of the die and mould, the present invention can provide easiness in manufacturing, greatly improve coupling strength, improve product quality by combining the coupling boss and the plate with each other with no damage of a plated layer, and be applied compatibly to any products which require strong combining force or which require weak combining force.

[36] As described above, the combination structure of the coupling boss and the plate according to the present invention can firmly combine the coupling boss 1 and the plate 2 with strong combining force, provide easiness in manufacturing since the coupling boss 1 and the plate 2 are combined with each other without replacement of the die and mould, greatly improve coupling strength, improve product quality by combining the coupling boss and the plate with each other with no damage of the plated layer, be applied compatibly to any products which require strong combining force or which require weak combining force, and have other various effects.

Claims
[1] A combination structure of a coupling boss (1) and a plate (2), wherein the coupling boss (1) includes a female screw hole (3) formed on the upper portion thereof, a flange (4) formed on the lower end thereof, and at least one retaining jaw (6) and retaining hole (7) formed on the lower portion thereof by a punch

[2] A combination structure of a coupling boss (1) and a plate (2), wherein the coupling boss (1) includes a female screw hole (3) formed on the upper portion thereof and a flange (4) formed on the lower end thereof, the flange (4) having a tapered portion (4a) downwardly inclined in the central direction and at least one retaining groove (7) formed thereon, whereby the plate (2) is firmly combined to the coupling boss (1) while being pressed to the retaining groove (7) and the tapered portion (4a) when the plate (2) is forcedly pressed to the coupling boss (1).
[3] A combination structure of a coupling boss (1) and a plate (2), wherein the coupling boss (1) includes a female screw hole (3) formed on the upper portion thereof, a flange (4) formed on the lower end thereof, and retaining holes (7) formed at four edges of the flange (4), each retaining hole (7) having a tapered portion (7a), whereby the plate (2) is firmly combined to the coupling boss (1) while being pressed into the retaining holes (7) when the plate (2) is forcedly pressed to the coupling boss (1).
[4] A combination structure of a coupling boss (1) and a plate (2), wherein the coupling boss (1) includes a female screw hole (3) formed on the upper portion thereof, a flange (4) formed on the lower end thereof, and at least one retaining groove (8) formed at the lower end portion of the coupling boss 1 which is in contact with the flange 4, whereby the plate (2) is firmly combined to the coupling boss (1) while being pressed to the groove (8) when the plate (2) is forcedly pressed to the coupling boss (1).
[5] The combination structure of a coupling boss (1) and a plate (2) according to claim 4, wherein the retaining groove (8) has an oval shape formed by cam slitting.
[6] A combination structure of a coupling boss (1) and a plate (2), wherein the coupling boss (1) includes a female screw hole (3) formed on the upper portion thereof, a flange (4) formed on the lower end thereof, and a radially saw-toothed portion (9) formed at the lower end portion of the coupling boss 1 which is in contact with the flange 4, whereby the plate (2) is firmly combined to the coupling boss (1) while being pressed to the radially saw-toothed portion (9) when the plate (2) is forcedly pressed to the coupling boss (1).
