所述移动终端尝试在与上次成功登记的移动通信网络上进行登记; 如果所述移动终端在小区驻留成功, 则网络搜索模块获取当前位置区 信息;
网络搜索模块将当前位置区信息与通用用户识别模块中的位置区信息 进行比较;
如果位置区改变 , 则网络搜索模块向移动性管理模块请求位置更新; 如果位置区不变, 则网络搜索模块根据系统信息请求执行附着过程; 如果网络搜索模块没有获得与上一次成功登记的移动通信网络有关的 信息或者所述移动终端登记失败, 则网络搜索模块根据可用移动通信网络 的列表, 按照移动通信网络的优先级顺序搜索新的移动通信网络;
所述移动终端尝试在新的移动通信网络上进行登记; 如果所述列表中没有可用的移动通信网络或者所述移动终端丢失覆 盖, 则网络搜索模块检查来自接入层的上报信息中是否包含与上次成功登 记的移动通信网络有关的信息;

采用本发明的协议栈软件系统, 可以将非接入层的网络搜索功能分离 出来, 使得非接入层的架构更加清晰, 其中的网络搜索模块专门用于控制 网络搜索和网络登记过程, 而移动性管理模块则用于移动性的管理, 负责 维护上层业务的连接。 附图说明

图 1是根据本发明的一个实施例的移动终端的协议栈软件系统的示意 图。如图 1所示,本实施例的移动终端的协议栈软件系统 10包括通用用户 识别模块(USIM )管理模块 11、 非接入层 12、 用户接口模块 13和接入 层 15, 其中 USIM管理模块 11、 用户接口模块 13和接入层 15分别通过 相应的接口与非接入层 12连接。 在本实施例中, 接入层 15包括无线资源 控制 (RRC )模块 150和无线资源管理(RR/GRR )模块 152, 用于处理 移动终端和无线接入网之间在网络层控制面的信令。非接入层 12包括移动 性管理模块 120和网络搜索模块 125, 其中移动性管理模块 120用于执行 移动终端的移动性管理, 例如移动终端在电路交换通信系统或分组交换通 信系统上的位置登记, 移动性管理模块 120在 GSM系统中用 MM表示, 在 GPRS系统中用 GMM表示; 网络搜索模块 125用于控制移动通信网络 的选择以及控制在所选择的移动通信网络上登记移动终端, 包含与接入层 15交互控制信息以及与移动性管理模块 120交互控制信息。
在移动终端搜索移动通信网络的过程中, 网络搜索模块 125对移动性 管理模块 120屏蔽了小区的变化, 对于开机、 插卡、 位置区变化等都通过 位置更新请求发送到移动性管理模块 120, 而对于关机、 拔卡等都通过去 附请求发送到移动性管理模块 120。
此外, 网络搜索模块 125还代理移动性管理模块 120在某些流程异常 处理中发起的小区重选或网络重选的过程。 网络搜索模块 125还根据所支 持的无线接入技术,将网络登记的请求发送到接入层 15的相应模块中, 满 足多模的需求。
进一步地, 网络搜索模块 125包括第一接口 151, 用于与 USIM管理 模块 11交互消息; 第二接口 152, 用于与用户接口模块 13交互消息; 第 三接口 153, 用于与接入层 15的 RRC模块 150交互有关移动通信网络的 搜索和小区驻留的消息; 第四接口 154, 用于与移动性管理模块 120交互 有关位置更新、 去附、 小区重选的消息; 第一存储器 155, 用于存储与上 次成功登记的移动通信网络有关的信息; 第二存储器 156, 用于存储可用 移动通信网络的列表。
网络搜索模块 125的笫一接口 151执行与 USIM管理模块 11之间的 消息交互, 例如, 第一接口 151通过 USIM管理模块 11从 USIM卡中获 取与上次成功登记的移动通信网络有关的信息, 然后将其存储在第一存储 器 155中。
网络搜索模块 125通过第二接口 152与用户接口模块 13进行消息的交 互, 包括开机 /关机消息、 来自用户的网络重选请求、 可用移动通信网絡的 列表、 当前网络搜索状态等。
第三接口 153是网络搜索模块 125与接入层 15的无线资源控制模块 150进行消息交互的接口, 主要用于交互有关网络搜索和小区驻留的消息。 当网络搜索模块 125向 RRC模块 150发送有关网络搜索的请求时, RRC 模块 150根据该请求上报可用移动通信网络的列表, 网絡搜索模块 125收 到后将其存储在第二存储器 156中。 接着, 网络搜索模块 125根据搜索网 络的模式和 USIM卡是否有效, 发送有关小区驻留的请求。 一般地, 搜索 网絡的模式包括手动搜索和自动搜索两种: 在手动搜索网络的情况下, 由 用户从可用移动通信网络的列表中指定一个移动通信网络; 在自动搜索网 络的情况下, 根据可用移动通信网络地列表按照移动通信网络的优先级依 次搜索。 RRC模块 150在完成小区驻留或小区重选后,返回响应以上 4艮驻 留情况和系统信息, 网络搜索模块 125从中获取位置区变化信息和其它控 制信息。
当移动终端在连接状态下丟失覆盖时, RRC模块 150通过第三接口 153通知网络搜索模块 125, 还可以同时上报可用移动通信网络的列表。
网络搜索模块 125通过第四接口 154与移动性管理模块 120交互消息, 例如位置更新的请求和响应、 去附的请求和响应等。 第四接口 154还可以 完成移动性管理模块 120的状态迁移、 小区重选等功能。
另外, 网络搜索模块 125还可以包括定时器, 其用于在移动终端登记 的移动通信网络不是该移动终端的归属移动通信网络的情况下定时, 以触 发搜索其归属移动通信网络。
通过以上描述可以看出,采用本实施例的移动终端的协议栈软件系统, 使网络搜索功能由一个独立的模块实现, 可以减轻移动性管理模块处理某 些系统信息的开销, 4吏得协议栈软件系统中的非接入层的架构更加清晰。
在同一个发明构思下, 图 2是根据本发明一个实施例的移动终端手动 搜索移动通信网络的方法的流程图, 其中移动终端具有如图 1所示的协议 栈软件系统 10。 下面结合图 2以及图 3所示的网络搜索模块的状态图, 详 细说明移动终端手动搜索移动通信网络的方法。 在本实施例中, 移动通信 网络是公用陆地移动通信网络( PLMN ) 。
在实现上, 网络搜索模块自身可由一套状态机维护, 并在逻辑上对应 于手动搜索网络模式和自动搜索网络模式。
如图 2和图 3所示, 当移动终端开机后, 网络搜索模块进入初始状态 NULL。 移动终端检测 USIM卡是否存在, 如果 USIM卡存在, 则网络搜 索模块从 USIM卡中获取与上次成功登记的移动通信网络有关的信息(步 骤 201 ) , 在本实施例中为 RPLMN信息。 如果网络搜索模块没有获得 RPLMN信息, 则网络搜索模块 "未在 PLMN上,,状态以等待用户指 定新的 PLMN。 如果网络搜索模块获得 RPLMN信息, 则移动终端尝试在 上次成功登记的移动通信网络上进行登记(步骤 203 ) , 此时, 网络搜索 模块 "尝试登记 RPLMN" 状态。
在 "尝试登记 RPLMN" 状态下, 如果移动终端在 RPLMN中的小区 驻留失败, 则网络搜索模块进入 "等待" 状态。 如果移动终端在 RPLMN 中的小区驻留成功, 则网络搜索模块从 RRC模块上报的系统信息中获取 当前位置区信息(步骤 205 ) 。 然后将当前位置区信息与保存在 USIM卡 中的位置区信息进行比较(步骤 207 ) , 如果位置区改变, 则网络搜索模 块向移动性管理模块请求进行位置更新(步骤 209 ) , 移动性管理模块收 到后即进行位置更新操作。 如果在位置更新过程中出现网络侧拒绝, 则网 絡搜索模块进入 "无 SIM卡"状态。 如果位置区不变, 则网络搜索模块查 看系统信息中的 ATT标识, 向接入层请求执行附着过程(步骤 210 ) 。
如果移动终端登记成功, 则网络搜索模块 "在 PLMN上" 状态。 在该状态下, 如果移动终端在连接态下丢失覆盖并且接入层报告无可选移 动通信网络, 则网络搜索模块进入 "等待" 状态; 如果在位置更新过程中 出现网络侧拒绝, 则网络搜索模块进入 "无 SIM卡"状态; 如果在位置更 新过程中出现网络侧拒绝并等待用户选择其它可选移动通信网络, 则网络 搜索模块 "未在 PLMN上" 状态。
如果移动终端在上次成功登记的移动通信网络上登记失败, 则网络搜 索模块进入 "未在 PLMN上" 状态以等待用户指定新的 PLMN。 在 "未 在 PLMN上"状态下, 网络搜索模块提供可用移动通信网络的列表, 并通 过用户接口模块向该移动终端的用户显示(步骤 212 ) , 用户指定该列表 中的一个 PLMN作为新的 PLMN (步骤 214 )。 当用户指定了新的 PLMN 后, 网络搜索模块进入 "尝试登记 PLMN" 状态, 移动终端尝试在该新的 PLMN上进行登记 (步骤 216 )。 如果移动终端在新的 PLMN中的小区驻 留成功, 则执行步驟 205至 210。如果登记成功, 则网络搜索模块进入 "在 PLMN上,,状态。 如果登记失败, 则网络搜索模块再次进入 "未在 PLMN 上,, 状态, 执行步骤 212至 216。
如果在可用移动通信网络的列表中没有可用的移动通信网络供用户指 定, 则网络搜索模块进入 "等待" 状态, 在该状态下, 网络搜索模块检查 来自接入层的上报信息中是否包含 RPLMN信息(步骤 218 ) , 如果上报 信息中包含 RPLMN信息, 则网络搜索模块 "尝试登记 RPLMN" 状 态, 重复上述步骤。 如果上报信息中没有包含 RPLMN信息, 则网络搜索 模块进入 "未在 PLMN上"状态, 向用户提供可用移动通信网络的列表以 选择。
当移动终端未检测到 USIM卡时, 网络搜索模块 ¾^ "无 SIM卡"状 态。 在 "无 SIM卡" 状态下, 如果用户插入 USIM卡且存在 PLMN信 息, 则网络搜索模块 "尝试登记 RPLMN"状态; 如果用户插入 USIM 卡但不存在 RPLM 信息,则网络搜索模块 "尝试登记 PLMN"状态。
进一步地, 所述方法还包括: 如果移动终端关机或者取出 USIM卡, 则网络搜索模块向移动性管理模块发送去附请求以执行去附处理,进入"无 SIM卡" 状态。
通过以上描述可以看出, 采用本实施例的方法, 可由网络搜索模块控 制网络搜索和小区驻留的过程, 并且可由用户指定重选的网络。
在同一个发明构思下, 图 4是根据本发明一个实施例的移动终端自动 搜索移动通信网络的方法的流程图, 其中移动终端具有如图 1所示的协议 栈软件系统。 下面结合图 4以及图 5所示的网络搜索模块的状态图, 详细 说明移动终端自动搜索移动通信网络的方法。
如图 4和图 5所示, 当移动终端开机后, 网络搜索模块进入初始状态 NULL。 移动终端检测 USIM卡是否存在, 如果 USIM卡存在, 则网络搜 索模块从 USIM卡中获取与上次成功登记的移动通信网络有关的信息(步 驟 401 ) , 在本实施例中为 RPLMN信息。 如果网络搜索模块没有获得 RPLMN信息, 则网络搜索模块进入 "尝试登记 FLMN" 状态。 如果网络 搜索模块获得 RPLM 信息, 则移动终端尝试在上次成功登记的移动通信 网络上进行登记(步骤 403 ),此时,网络搜索模块 尝试登记 RPLMN" 状态。
在 "尝试登记 RPLMN" 状态下, 如果移动终端在 RPLMN中的小区 驻留成功, 则网络搜索模块从 RRC模块上报的系统信息中获取当前位置 区信息(步骤 405 ) 。 然后将当前位置区信息与保存在 USIM卡中的位置 区信息进行比较(步骤 407 ) , 如果位置区改变, 则网络搜索模块向移动 性管理模块请求进行位置更新(步骤 409 ) , 移动性管理模块收到后即进 行位置更新操作。如果位置更新被拒绝,则网络搜索模块进入 "无 SIM卡" 状态。 如果位置区不变, 则网络搜索模块查看系统信息中的 ATT标识, 向 接入层请求执行附着过程 (步驟 410 ) 。
如果移动终端登记成功, 则网络搜索模块 "在 PLMN上" 状态。 在该状态下, 如果移动终端请求位置更新时被拒绝, 或者在连接态下丢失 覆盖但存在可用移动通信网络, 或者用户发起重新选网, 则网络搜索模块 进入 "尝试登记 PLMN" 状态。 如果移动终端在连接态下丢失覆盖且没有 可用移动通信网络, 则网络搜索模块 "等待" 状态。
如果移动终端在上次成功登记的移动通信网络上登记失败, 则网络搜 索模块 "尝试登记 PLMN" 状态。 在该状态下, 网络搜索模块根据可 用移动通信网络的列表, 按照 PLMN的优先级顺序依次搜索 PLMN, 移 动终端尝试在被搜索的 PLMN上进行登记 (步骤 412 )。 如果移动终端在 被搜索的 PLMN中的小区驻留成功, 则执行步骤 405至 410。 在移动终端 尝试进行登记的过程中, 如果移动终端搜索不到任何小区驻留, 则网络搜 索模块进入 "等待"状态。 如果移动终端在某个 PLMN上登记成功, 则网 络搜索模块进入 "在 PLMN上" 状态。
在 "等待" 状态下, 网络搜索模块检查来自接入层的上报信息中是否 包含 RPLMN信息(步驟 414 ) 。 如果在上报信息中包含 RPLMN信息, 则网络搜索模块进入 "尝试登记 RPLMN" 状态, 重复上述步骤。 如果上 报信息中没有包含 RPLMN信息,则网络搜索模块 "尝试登记 PLMN" 状态。
当移动终端未检测到 USIM卡时, 网络搜索模块:^ "无 SIM卡"状 态, 等待用户插入 USIM卡。 如果用户插入 USIM卡并且网络搜索模块可 以从 USIM 卡中获取 RPLMN信息时, 网络搜索模块进入 "尝试登记 RPLMN" 状态; 如果网络搜索模块没有获得 RPLMN信息, 则进入 "尝 试登记 PLMN" 状态。
进一步地, 所述方法还包括: 在移动终端登记成功的情况下, 即网络 搜索模块处于 "在 PLMN上"状态下时,如果该移动终端所登记的 PLMN 不是其归属 PLMN, 则在登记成功时即启动定时器(步骤 420 )。 当定时 器超时后, 网络搜索模块进入 "搜索归属 PLMN" 状态, 对该移动终端的 归属 PLMN进行搜索(步骤 422 ) , 如果搜索到该归属 PLMN, 则移动终 端尝试在该归属 PLMN上进行登记(步驟 424 ) 。 如果登记成功, 则网絡 搜索模块进入 "在 PLMN上" 状态; 如果移动终端在其归属 PLMN上登 记失败, 则该移动终端重新尝试在先前所登记的移动通信网络上进行登记 (步骤 426 ) 。 当网络搜索模块处于 "搜索归属 PLMN" 状态下时, 如果 先前所登记的 PLMN不可用, 则网络搜索模块 3^ "等待" 状态。
进一步地,所述方法还包括:在网络搜索模块处于 "尝试登记 PLMN" 状态下,如果移动终端在列表中的所有 PLMN上都登记失败, 则选择第一 次成功驻留的 PLMN进^ f亍驻留,移动终端进入受限状态, 此时网络搜索模 块进入 "尝试位置更新" 状态, 在该状态下, 如果位置区改变导致移动终 端在列表中的某个 PLMN上登记成功, 则网络搜索模块进入 "在 PLMN 上,,状态。 当网络搜索模块处于 "在 PLMN上,,状态时, 如果位置区改变 导致移动终端的位置更新失败, 则网络搜索模块进入 "尝试位置更新" 状 态。
进一步地, 所述方法还包括: 如果移动终端关机或者取出 USIM卡, 则网络搜索模块向移动性管理模块发送去附请求以执行去附处理, 网絡搜 索模块进入 "无 SIM卡" 状态。
通过以上描述可以看出, 采用本实施例的方法, 可由网络搜索模块控 制网络搜索和小区驻留的过程, 并且自动按照优先级顺序选择可用的移动 通信网络。 工业应用性
本发明可应用于第三代移动通信系统中的 TD-SCDMA移动终端。

Claims

权 利 要 求
1. 一种移动终端的协议栈软件系统, 包括通用用户识别模块管理模 块、 用户接口模块、 非接入层和接入层, 其中所述非接入层包括移动性管 理模块, 用于执行所述移动终端的移动性管理; 其特征在于, 所述非接入 层还包括:
网络搜索模块, 用于控制移动通信网络的选择以及控制在所选择的移 动通信网络上登记所述移动终端。
2. 根据权利要求 1所述的移动终端的协议栈软件系统, 其特征在于, 所述网络搜索模块包括:
第一接口, 用于与所述通用用户识别模块管理模块交互消息; 第二接口, 用于与所述用户接口模块交互消息;
第三接口, 用于与所述接入层的无线资源控制模块交互有关移动通信 网络的搜索和小区驻留的消息;
第四接口, 用于与所述移动性管理模块交互有关位置更新、 去附、 小 区重选的消息;
第一存储器, 用于存储与上次成功登记的移动通信网络有关的信息; 以及
第二存储器, 用于存储可用移动通信网络的列表。
3. 根据权利要求 2所述的移动终端的协议栈软件系统, 其特征在于, 所述网络搜索模块还包括定时瑭, 用于在所述移动终端登记的移动通信网 络不是所述移动终端的归属移动通信网络的情况下定时, 以触发搜索所述 归属移动通信网络。
4. 一种具有如权利要求 1至 3任意一项所述的协议栈软件系统的移 动终端手动搜索移动通信网络的方法, 包括以下步骤:
在移动终端开机后, 所述移动终端的网络搜索模块获取通用用户识别 模块中的与上次成功登记的移动通信网絡有关的信息;
所述移动终端尝试在上次成功登记的移动通信网络上进行登记; 如果所述移动终端在小区驻留成功, 则网络搜索模块获取当前位置区 信息;
网络搜索模块将当前位置区信息与通用用户识别模块中的位置区信息 进行比较;
如果位置区改变, 则网络搜索模块向移动性管理模块请求位置更新; 如果位置区不变, 则网络搜索模块根据系统信息请求执行附着过程; 如果网络搜索模块没有获得与上次成功登记的移动通信网络有关的信 息或者所述移动终端登记失败, 则网络搜索模块向所述移动终端的用户提 供可用移动通信网络的列表;
用户指定所述列表中的一个网络作为新的移动通信网络;
网络搜索模块根据用户的指定搜索新的移动通信网络;
所述移动终端尝试在新的移动通信网络上进行登记;
如果所述移动终端在小区驻留失败或者所述列表中没有可用的移动通 信网络或者所述移动终端丢失覆盖, 则网络搜索模块检查来自接入层的上 报信息中是否包含与上次成功登记的移动通信网络有关的信息;
在所述上报信息中包含与上次成功登记的移动通信网络有关的信息的 情况下, 重复上述步骤。
5. 根据权利要求 4 所述的移动终端手动搜索移动通信网络的方法, 其特征在于,还包括: 如果所述移动终端关机或者取出用户服务标识模块, 则网絡搜索模块向移动性管理模块发送去附请求以执行去附处理。
6. 一种具有如权利要求 1至 3任意一项所述的协议栈软件系统的移 动终端自动搜索移动通信网络的方法, 包括以下步骤:
在移动终端开机后, 所述移动终端的网络搜索模块获取通用用户识别 模块中的与上次成功登记的移动通信网络有关的信息;
所述移动终端尝试在与上次成功登记的移动通信网络上进亍登记; 如果所述移动终端在小区驻留成功, 则网络搜索模块获取当前位置区 信息;
网络搜索模块将当前位置区信息与通用用户识别模块中的位置区信息 进行比较;
如果位置区改变, 则网络搜索模块向移动性管理模块请求位置更新; 如果位置区不变, 则网絡搜索模块根据系统信息请求执行附着过程; 如果网络 索模块没有获得与上次成功登记的移动通信网络有关的信 息或者所述移动终端登记失败, 则网络搜索模块根据可用移动通信网络的 列表, 按照移动通信网络的优先级顺序搜索新的移动通信网络;
所述移动终端尝试在新的移动通信网络上进行登记;
如果所述列表中没有可用的移动通信网络或者所述移动终端丢失覆 盖, 则网络搜索模块检查来自接入层的上报信息中是否包含与上次成功登 记的移动通信网络有关的信息;
在所述上报信息中包含与上次成功登记的移动通信网络有关的信息的 情况下, 重复上述步骤。
7. 根据权利要求 6所述的移动终端自动搜索移动通信网络的方法, 其特征在于, 还包括:
在所述移动终端登记成功的情况下, 如果所登记的移动通信网络不是 所述移动终端的归属移动通信网络, 则启动定时器;
当定时器超时后, 网络搜索模块控制对所述移动终端的归属移动通信 网络进行搜索;
如果网络搜索模块搜索到所述归属移动通信网络, 则所述移动终端尝 试在所述归属移动通信网络上进行登记;
如果所述移动终端在所述归属移动通信网络上未登记成功, 则所述移 动终端重新尝试在先前所登记的移动通信网络上进行登记。
8. 根据权利要求 6 所述的移动终端自动搜索移动通信网络的方法, 其特征在于, 还包括:
如果所述移动终端在所述列表中的所有移动通信网络上都登记失败, 则选择第一次成功驻留的移动通信网络进行驻留, 并尝试进行位置更新, 直到所述移动终端在所述列表中的某个移动通信网络上登记成功。
9. 根据权利要求 6至 8任意一项所述的移动终端自动搜索移动通信 网络的方法, 其特征在于, 还包括: 如果所述移动终端关机或者取出用户 服务标识模块, 则网络搜索模块向移动性管理模块发送去附请求。
