L'invention concerne un article de protection du pied comprenant une chaussette (1) munie d'une pièce tampon (2) et d'au moins une poche (20) pour contenir la pièce tampon, cette dernière étant constituée d'une couche d'un matériau viscoélastique, dans sa partie (Z) destinée à couvrir le tendon d'Achille et la partie postérieure du Talon d'Achille.
