Abstract

The invention relates to a method of emitting a signal implementing at least two transmit antennas, comprising steps of obtaining source vectors, each comprising at least one source symbol to be emitted; allocating of power (12), consisting in weighting each source symbol to be emitted by a power coefficient, delivering a weighted symbol, the power coefficients being represented by a power matrix P; forming pathways (13), consisting in multiplying each weighted symbol by an assignment vector, the assignment vectors being represented by an assignment matrix U; the matrices P and U being represented by a covariance matrix Q. According to the invention, this method comprises a step of determining a deterministic matrix M representative of the matrix Q and taking account of at least certain statistical information representative of a transmission channel between the transmit antenna and receive antenna.
