Abstract

The present invention is directed to a tapered, single-orifice device for releasing into the environment in a persistent, uniform and consistent manner, fragrance and/or odor-counteractant from a PVC thermoplastic polymeric matrix gel composition where the matrix comprises high loadings of fragrance composition(s) and/or odor counteractant(s), preferably greater than about 85% by weight, where the ratio of the area of the orifice to the area of the base is about one to greater than one.
