Automatic Registered Mail Service
For the "Automatic PO Box System"

The present patent application is complementary to the patent application submitted with "Automatic PO Box System" as the title.
One of the conventional and oldest postal services is "Registered Mail". In the course of the conventional execution of this service the sender of a registered letter goes to the post office with his mail in hand. At the post office he fills a form and submits it to the teller, along with his letter. The teller affixes the same number to the letter and the form stamps them, registers the mail in his records and delivers the stamped form to the sender. The sender pays the service and the operation is completed.
The key issues here are:
The sender must keep official proof of having sent the registered letter.
The sending post office must keep written track of the outgoing registered mail.
The receiving post office must keep written track of the incoming registered mail.
The sender must pay this service.
Outside cases of force majeure, the registered mail must not be lost.
Within legal limits, the subject or contents of registered mail is not under postal responsibility.
At the destination:
The addressee receives a registered mail delivery notification, takes it to the post office and submits it to the teller who locates the mail in his storage system. The addressee shows some identification, the teller verifies it and delivers the registered mail. The addressee signs the delivery register.
