Description

FORK COMBINATION CHOPSTICK HAVING FORK FUNCTION
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a fork combination chopstick having a fork function, and more particularly, to a fork combination chopstick the food contact portion of which is formed of a fork shape so as to capable of being used as a fork as well as a chopstick, to thereby enable users to easily and conveniently take and eat food.
Background Art
Generally, a chopstick is of an elongated rod shape in which one end of the chopstick is used as a handle portion and the other end thereof is used as a food contact portion. Two chopsticks are used in a pair and manipulated with one hand to take and eat food through the food contact portion.
However, since a pair of chopsticks are used with one hand, it is difficult for persons who are not accustomed to use a pair of chopsticks to conveniently use a pair of chopsticks. Thus, persons who are not accustomed to use a pair of chopsticks cannot easily take and eat food with a pair of chopsticks.
In the case that persons who are not accustomed to use a pair of chopsticks use a pair of chopsticks, food is easily dropped down to thereby cause the food to be lost. As a result, persons who are not accustomed to use a pair of chopsticks are inclined to feel uncomfortable or inconvenient when using a pair of chopsticks.
Moreover, since the food contact portion of each of a pair of chopsticks is rounded, even persons who are familiar with using a pair of chopsticks may have the difficulties in taking food whose outer shape is round like a piece of a bean or the bulb of a garlic. As a result, persons may choose to use a spoon or a fork instead of using a pair of chopsticks or avoid using of a pair of chopsticks .
Disclosure of the Invention
To solve the above problems, it is an object of the present invention to provide a fork combination chopstick having a fork function, which includes a handle portion and a food contact portion, in which a fork portion is formed at the end of the food contact portion, to thereby enable the fork combination chopstick to be used as a fork as well as a chopstick.
To accomplish the above object of the present invention, according to an aspect of the present invention, there is provided a fork combination chopstick having a fork function, the fork combination chopstick comprising: a handle portion and a food contact portion wherein a fork portion is formed at the end of the food contact portion.
Preferably, the fork portion comprises two or more fork blades. Brief Description of the Drawings
FIG. 1 is a perspective view showing a fork combination chopstick according to the present invention; and
FIG. 2 is a cross-sectional view showing a pair of the fork combination chopsticks having a fork function of FIG. 1.
Best Mode for Carrying out the Invention
Hereinbelow, a fork combination chopstick having a fork function according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings 1 and 2, respectively
A fork combination chopstick 100 having a fork function according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention is shown in FIG. 1. A pair of the fork combination chopsticks 100 of FIG. 1 are shown in FIG. 2.
Referring to FIG. 1, a fork combination chopstick 100 having a fork function according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention includes a handle portion 1 and a food contact portion 2. A fork portion 4 is formed at the end of the food contact unit 2 of the chopstick 100. Accordingly, the fork combination chopstick 100 can function as a fork 4 as well as a chopstick 100.
The fork portion 4 is formed of two or more fork blades 3.
Referring to FIG.2, the fork blades 3 are formed with a curved shape, respectively, in order to readily poke food. However, the fork blades 3 are not necessarily formed with a curved shape, but there are formed of a linear shape, respectively.
The fork combination chopstick 100 having a fork function 4 having the above-described configuration according to the present invention enables anyone who cannot use a pair of conventional chopsticks conveniently to easily pick up and eat the food.
The end of the food contact portion 2 of the fork combination chopstick 100 is split into two or more fork blades 3 so as to perform a fork function 4. Therefore, when the fork combination chopstick 100 is used as a function of a pair of chopsticks, in order to take elongated food or soft and slippery food, a user grips two fork combination chopsticks by one hand and manipulates the two fork combination chopsticks as a pair of chopsticks to thereby take and eat the food. In the meantime, when the fork combination chopstick 100 is used as a function of a fork, in order to take round and hard food such as beans, garlics, ham, a user grips one or two fork combination chopsticks by one hand in the same manner as a method of using a fork and manipulates the fork blades 3 formed at the end of the food contact portion 2 in the fork combination chopstick 100 to poke the food to thereby take and eat the food.
Here, the fork blades 3 are formed in a curved shape in order to poke readily the food.
As described above, the fork portion 4 is formed in the food contact portion 2 in the fork combination chopstick 100. The fork portion 4 is split into two or more fork blades 3 at the end of the food contact portion 2. Accordingly, the fork combination chopstick 100 can be used as a fork as well as a chopstick, according to the shape of food, to thereby enable users to easily take and eat food.
As described above, the fork combination chopstick 100 according to the present invention can be used as a fork as well as a pair of chopsticks, according to the shape of food, to thereby provide an effect of complementing the disadvantage of the conventional chopsticks and enabling users to easily take and eat food irrespective of the shape of the food.
As described above, the present invention has been described with respect to a particularly preferred embodiment. However, the present invention is not limited to the above embodiment, and it is possible for one who has an ordinary skill in the art to make various modifications and variations, without departing off the spirit of the present invention. Thus, the protective scope of the present invention is not defined within the detailed description thereof but is defined by the claims to be described later and the technical spirit of the present invention.
Industrial Applicability
As described above, the present invention provides a fork combination chopstick having a fork function having a handle portion 1 and a food contact portion 2 in which the end of the food contact portion 2 of the fork combination chopstick 100 is split into two or more fork blades 3 so as to perform a fork function , to thereby enable user to use the fork combination chopstick 100 to be used as a fork as well as a pair of chopsticks, according to the shape of food.
