Abstract

La présente invention concerne une structure lumineuse (100,) qui comporte : un guide plan (1) pour un rayonnement visible ou ultraviolet doté d'une tranche (13a) et de deux faces principales (11, 12) sensiblement parallèles dont l'une au moins est extractrice d'au moins une partie dudit rayonnement, au moins une source quasi ponctuelle (2) dudit rayonnement, telle qu'une diode électroluminescente, couplée au guide pour une propagation dudit rayonnement à l'intérieur du guide, ladite source (2) présentant au moins une direction principale d'émission du rayonnement et étant agencée de sorte que, après réfraction sur le guide, la direction principale d'émission a une incidence (Formule I) par rapport à au moins la première face principale rencontrée (12) supérieure à l'incidence de réflexion totale (Formule II) donnée par la relation (Formule III) avec n1 défini comme l'indice optique de réfraction du guide.
